Good evening, everyone. Good evening. I hope you're all doing well. Oh, as usual, the center would like to thank you so much for your continued support of us. We could not do what we do without all of you. Our center continues to remain busy. Since our last meeting on July 13th, we had crazy hat day slash ice cream social, and that was great fun. Commissioner Simone, it was great to have you there. Thank you for your support. On July 27th, our recreation director, Denise, took some of our members on a tri-rail trip. What they do is they learn how to navigate the system on their own. They get the senior discount passes. They go on the train. They go up to, I think she takes them to West Palm. They get back on the train and they come back. They love it. It's great. And they're actually going to do another one I think on the 30th of September when she gets back from vacation. We would like to give a wonderful shout out to our IT director. He developed a Family Feud game that our members are enjoying immensely. We love it. It's great fun. And we'd like to make a proposition. We want to do Family Feud police versus fire, if anybody's up for that. looking at you over there. On August 21st, we had Hawaiian Day, which we loved, right? Hawaiian Day. And also we have a computer class twice a week at the center. It's taught by Sophia, which is South Florida Institute on Aging. And actually the teacher gave us a very nice compliment about the design of the room. So thank you to everybody that was involved in that, Patrick, PW, all the people that helped us, Larry and Kale. helped us to design that room. He said it was the best design he's had in any of the places that he taught, so that's very important to the center and to our programming, so thank you. On September 9th, CAPTEL, which is the captioned telephones for people that have a hearing disability, they're going to be at the center from 9.30 to 11.30, and for that program, you don't have to be a member of the center, so you can come out, he'll explain, and the gentleman speaks Spanish, the one that's coming, so he will assist you with applying to get those phones on september 17th fdot is coming and we have what's called our triennial review they're going to review they review the vehicles and they review the files it's a very big day for us there so that's important but again thank you to all of you for all of your support and we continue to be busy so thank you very much for everything all right thank you board member comments board member schwartz

always a good time to come and visit and Crazy Hack Day, Hawaiian Day, all of those things. As I've said before, you don't have to get old to grow old. And if you go to the senior center, you will see that that is absolutely the model by which they live. So to everyone there, including you, thank you.

Terry, always a pleasure to participate at the Senior Center. You run a wonderful facility. I know the residents say that it's their home away from home. They feel so welcome and inviting there. So thank you to you and the staff for everything that you do for the residents.

Same thing, Terry. You do a great job. Keep it up. You know, we never get complaints from your side over there. So you must be doing something great. Thanks.

Crazy hat. They was crazy. I showed a slight bit of insanity by wearing a jet hope jet hat hoping that eventually it'll win something. And and Hawaiian as always was is just phenomenal. Just phenomenal. You're doing a great job. Just just keep it going.

City Council Chambers, yep Terry keep up the good work in talking to residents, especially the seniors it's well regarded the senior Center we never hear any bad things about it and it's it's well served and the Community appreciates it Thank you Okay, and with that this meeting is going to be adjourned.
