City Council - Special Meeting

That's true. I will go ahead and call to order our special called city council meeting on May 13th. Um, first item on the agenda is citizen comment. I do not have any speaker cards. So, we we will move on to election items. Election item A, presentation of canvas of May 2nd, 2026, general election for city council member district number three with Miss Angie Shepard, our city secretary. All right. Good morning and thank you, mayor, council, uh, city manager. We have the official results from the, uh, district 3 uh, candidates, and they are as follows. Darren Rudy Rudolph, 64 votes, which is 12.05%. G. Floyd, 33 votes with 6.21%. Brandon Smith with 196, which is 36.91%. Marina Cooper 160 which is 30.13% and Brenda J. Waldridge 78 which is 14.69%. I will move on to item B which is to consider a resolution declaring the results of the May 2nd 2026 general election for council district number three. Miss Shepard,
