Okay, we are live.
Good. Thank you very much, Dallas. So, good evening. This is an annexation, a live stream neighborhood meeting for the addition of Nelson Road in 1979. Next slide. My name is Jennifer Hewitt Appesan. I am the Principal Planner of Longmont City. Along with us from the City, we have Sam Landen who is one of the Civil Engineers. Along with us, we also have Dallas Stiles who conducts the live stream of the meeting and takes things easily. Along with the applicants, we have Zoe Spears from Norris Design, Rayan McBrain from Norris Design, and Doug Hickson from Connection Church Longmont. The neighborhood meeting in the evening is a mandatory part of the pre-application process. The city has not made any official inquiries so far, so it will not make any decisions at this meeting tonight. The aim of this project is to provide information to everyone involved in this project. If we are talking about the schedule of the meeting, the staff will provide an overview of the necessary additional procedures, and will continue to talk in more detail about the application proposal. At that time, we will take a five-minute interval and post the call and instructions for it. If you want to talk, you can call in that interval and be included in the queue. Like the CET Council, all speakers will get three minutes. Why are we live streaming? We have found that live streaming is a way to ensure that more people participate in the community. Apart from being able to participate in more people in the early stages of the meeting, it also helps to record the meeting on the YouTube channel of the city so that those who cannot see it in the early stages can see it at the appropriate time. Next slide The property we are discussing today is located on Nelson Road in 1979. According to Envision Loan, it is called Mixed Employment. It is located in the northern part of Nelson Road, below Anderson Street. They are suggesting a mixed use employment zoning that is appropriate to add this property. Next slide. This property is part of the Loan Mound Planning Area in Boulder County, unincorporated. As mentioned earlier, this property is part of the area called Envision Loan Mound Mixed Employment. Since it is included in the Loan Mound Planning Area, and because it is associated with one of the six parts of its circumference as a municipality, it is considered to be a major addition. Next slide. A referral process for the CET Council to ask if they are interested in this issue was carried out on May 12. The CET Council referred this property and the project to the full approval process. On July 22, a pre-application meeting took place. We are here today as part of the last part of the pre-application process. After this neighborhood meeting, the applicant will be able to submit an application to be added to the Longamonda city. First, this application will be reviewed by the Development Review Committee. The multidisciplinary staff team, which is responsible for the planning, engineering, long-amount power, and fire safety of various departments, is carefully inspecting the city's laws and regulations. If the DRC-DRC project is completed, it will refer to the Planning and Zoning Commission for a general hearing. The Planning and Zoning Commission is handed over to the CET Council. They are the board that takes decisions among the groups. Before taking decisions, the CET Council conducts a general hearing. In the case of public announcement, if it is accepted as an emergency inquiry, the boards will be set up in the property and notices will be sent to all property owners around 1000 feet. The general hearing with the Planning and Zoning Commission will be held 14 days before and the general hearing before the CET Council will be held 14 days before. Since the D.R.C. has ensured the planning and zoning process and scheduling, we have not yet received the details of the Planning and Zoning Commission or the CET Council. Moving on to the next slide, I will hand over the SOE SPLs from Norris Design. Thank you very much, Jennifer. That was a great introduction. Thank you to everyone who joined us today. We are very happy that you came here. Thank you again to all the city residents who participated in this. We know that a lot of time and effort is needed for this, so we appreciate all the things you do. My name is Zoe Spears. I am the planner of Norris Design. Today, my partner Rayanne McBreen and connection church dog Hickson are with me. We have come here today to talk about how the Connexion Church is being added to Longmont as a city. We can say this very briefly. I will give a brief introduction to the property. I will continue to explain what we are doing. Next slide. By chance, this property is located on 1979 Nelson Road. This is in the lower part of South Anderson Street. The Connexion Church has been operating here for a long time. They always try to keep this place clean and maintain a good relationship with the residents. They want to continue to be a good resident of Longamonda as part of Longamonda City through this joint initiative. Next slide This item is now being delivered in Boulder County. According to the Envision Longamonda Future Land Use Plan of the city, which was approved in 2016, this place is included in the Mixed Use Employment Department. We are trying to align with the city's view. The change in the situation does not mean that it will only be a part of the city. Next slide. In this slide, we can clearly see the situation of the property and the things we are suggesting. This is a worship building on the ground floor, and it will continue to be a worship building after being added. There will not be any physical changes or new developments as part of this proposal. The church on the ground floor has a capacity of approximately 3300 square feet. The parking facility and entrance to Nelson Road will continue unchanged. Nelson Road can be seen here opposite the city on the left and right sides of the road. So, this thing is connected to the places in the city. We do this by becoming part of the city, connecting with their views, and moving around the surrounding area. Next slide. Thank you all for joining us today. If you have any questions, please contact the Municipal Council office. Thank you. Thank you very much. So, now it is time for us to accept the public's opinions. Before that, let's take a five-minute break. You can see the details of the call on the screen. As we have introduced some of the basic laws for public opinion, we are following the CET Council laws. That is, each person will have 3 minutes to ask their questions or give their opinions. We emphasize that your name and residence should be made clear. In addition, we especially emphasize that questions and opinions should be related to the state instructions. Usually, we will not respond immediately when questions are asked. Only after we get the opportunity to talk to everyone, we will return to the questions. Next slide Okay. Let's start, Dallas.
Sure. If you have any questions or comments, you can call us now. That number is 1-888-788-PoojamPoojam99. When needed, give us the meeting ID 858-766-868-75. We will take 5 minutes to call the caller. Thank you. Thank you. We have about 30 seconds left in our 5-minute timer. If you still want to call, that number is 1-888-788-PoojamPoojam99. The meeting ID is 858-766-86875. One caller has arrived. We will take them and others within about 15 seconds. Okay, our 5-minute timer is over. I'm calling our caller tonight. The last three digits of the phone number are 406. Please press star 6 to unmute. Caller, this is coming. Hello, this is Diane McDaniel. I live on 9639 North 89th Street in unincorporated Boulder County. I don't understand why anyone wants to add this annex. That's why my thoughts are in a daze. Thank you, Diane. Thank you. I would like to ask Zoe and Doug to repeat that question. Doug, can you elaborate on that? As a God, as a prophet, as a prophet, as a connection church, I am Doug Hickson. We are the church that grows in our city. We are trying to think ahead about what can happen to our church in the future. So, as I said earlier, there are no conditions to change ourselves. So, we are looking for a property in Bavi. If there is a need, we can use that property and if it is needed in the city, we are trying to make it our own. Good. Thank you very much. Very good.
Also, we don't have any other questions or questions. Good.
Okay, then let's move on to the next slide.
So, if you have any questions after this session, our contact details are available on the screen. Phil Taylor is the planner who is handling this project, so he can answer your questions in the best way. Then there are source PIs in Norris Design from the investors' section. As Veen says, their contact details can be seen on the screen. So, if you have any questions after this, don't hesitate to contact us. With this, I would like to thank everyone for spending time with us this evening. Also, I would like to express my special thanks to the CET staff who were here to answer the questions. I would also like to say this. Good night to everyone. Spend the rest of your time well.
