Approval of the July 7, 2026 Planning Commission Draft Meeting Minutes
Recommendation: Staff recommends the Planning Commission approve the draft minutes. Staff Report Attachments: 1. 07-07-2026 Draft Meeting Minutes
PROJECT REVIEW
Hearing to consider Conditional Use Permit 26-001 and Site Plan Design Review 26-001 to authorize demolishing the existing Fire Station No. 6 and constructing a new approximately 13,000-square-foot fire station, a 2,600-square-foot reserve apparatus building, and associated site improvements.
Recommendation: Staff recommends the Planning Commission: 1. Adopt a resolution finding that the project is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) under CEQA Guidelines Section 15302, Replacement or Reconstruction; 2. Adopt a resolution approving Conditional Use Permit (CUP) 26-001 and Site Plan Design Review 26-001, subject to the attached Conditions of Approval; 3. Direct the Planning Manager to file a Notice of Exemption with the Alameda County Clerk and State Clearinghouse; and 4.
