So we were going to try to make some repairs to simply reach the indicated dates on the calendar. This allows us to take care of the needpools while waiting to be able to process a milling and a complete coating, as we have just done on mission. So this is the overall plan. When we started digging this summer, we found that our municipal standard for such a street requires 10 cm of asphalt over 18 cm of compacted rock base. When we started digging Moltaire, we found a first layer of 4 cm, then 8 cm and again 4 cm below. They probably date from the 80s, 90s and 2000s. That took a long time, and that's why we took so long to remove them. We didn't really have the appropriate equipment, because one of our objectives since the creation of the public works service two years ago is to strengthen our internal capacities. In the past, we mainly went through contracts and we repaired things as needed. What we are trying to do is to develop these internal skills in order to be able to carry out these works ourselves, because it is much cheaper than calling an entrepreneur. We spent about $ 20,000 on asphalt, on new equipment, and we had to rent some deviation panels and other elements. On mission. We started a few years ago. It was a security problem in Hortschard Park, especially around the facilities, but the main thing concerned the pavement at the beginning. We called on an artist to paint 20 rocks because the children were running in the water and could not see the rocks, they were confused with the ground. We painted them in corkscrew, in frogs, funny things, and they come out much better. We identified at least 20 other rocks in the entire Orchard Park game area that must be painted. Simultaneity concerning transport and new definitions to reflect some of the new legal requirements. Next slide. Apart from the requirements of the GMA, while we were working on the code, we considered it prudent to examine the coherence with the other planning efforts undertaken by the city. Uh, okay, okay. So, the ordinance on critical zones, known as CIO, has already passed this 60-day examination process. Uh, the Department of Fisheries and Fauna reported that it did not fully respect the requirements of net zero loss and the requirements relating to the riverine buffer zone. They therefore identified some sections where we had to update the code. We have therefore made some minor modifications to align us essentially on these requirements of the State, and we will submit it again as part of the review of the development regulation that we send to the State. Next slide. Okay, so the definitions. As you can imagine, the new legislation of the State introduces a new terminology, and every time there is a new term, you probably want to define it in your code to avoid any ambiguity of interpretation. We have therefore reviewed your section of definitions and reported the areas where a definition was missing. We use the definition of the state whenever possible, so that it perfectly corresponds to what is in the RCW itself. Thanks to this process, certain existing definitions should also be slightly updated to reflect the new requirement or the new definition of the state in the RCW. In total, about 50 definitions have been added or modified to reflect the requirements of the State. It was therefore a fairly important company. Well, apart from those from the new legislation of the State, we noticed, by familiarizing ourselves with your code, that some terms were used in various sections without appearing in the definitions section. and we thought it would be prudent to proceed with the definition of this term. Thus, there will be no confusion when the staff or a applicant interprets the code. Okay. Then, the duplexes.
