Hello, welcome to our special meeting that we've called here. We're going to kick things off with the pledge of allegiance and if our deputy administrator would be so kind as to lead us off. I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. Madam Clerk, I would like to note for the record that we have a special honorary counselor this evening. Mia, correct? Yes, so Mia, welcome. Madam Clerk, Um, we're ready to begin. Great, thank you Mr. Mayor. Item number one, approval of the election warrant calling for a special municipal election to be held on Tuesday, June 9th, 2026 for the school budget validation referendum and recommendations from the city clerk registrar of voters on actions necessary to conduct said election. Requested action, be it ordered by the city council that the election warrant be issued for the special municipal election to be held on Tuesday, June 9th, 2026 for the purpose of voting for the school budget validation referendum and to approve the following recommendations from the city clerk registrar of voters on actions necessary to conduct the special municipal election. A, that the hours for acceptance of registrations, in person only, prior to the June 9th election, as required by Maine Revised Statutes Annotated Title 1, Section Title 21A, Section 122-6A2, are business hours during May 20th through June 8th, 2026. B, that the names of persons who register during the closed period for registration shall be recorded in accordance with Maine Revised Statutes Annotated Title 21A, Section 122, Subsection 7B. And C, pursuant to Title 21A, Section 759, Subsection 7, absentee ballots will be processed centrally in conjunction with the state primary election ballots. Um, may I have a motion, please?
