Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval, 6-1-0, on August 13, 2026, subject to conditions. City Council approved the request, 8-0-0, on September 8, 2026, subject to conditions.

26-0396 Consider and take action on an ordinance amending Section 70-123, entitled “Restriction on Outdoor Donation Bins,” of Article VI, Chapter 70 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of League City, to clarify the application of the City’s donation bin regulations to property owned, leased, or operated by governmental entities (Mayor Long)

26-0382 Consider and take action on an ordinance of the City of League City, Texas, designating up to five (5) parking spaces at Hometown Heroes Park for the exclusive use of vehicles transporting persons with disabilities, between the hours of 7:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. on weekdays, and for general use of vehicles outside those times; providing for the posting of signs; providing exceptions; providing a penalty; and providing for savings, severability, repealer, publication, and an effective date (Director of Parks and Cultural Services)
