Mayor and Council, you may or may not recall last year's staff had come to you and kind of giving a heads up that the project may be on the pipeline because copper lines, copper flow lines are going away. And in fact, AT&T has notified us that by June of cell phones since that time so this city has seen some savings in salary items and while this is not a budgeted project it was in the proposed amended budget that i brought to you a little while back and it got tabled until we got some room to fit in and things like that and so while we have the funds we would like to transition to the white phone which is a savings of about, honestly, it ranges with AT&T. I've not seen a bill lower than $1,600 and sometimes they're over $1,900 a month. So we're looking at potentially a $300 a month savings on AT&T services. And we're looking at a different system that was a little fancier than what we I have transitioned to another municipality and it costs significantly more than this. Just the phone is a loan over $55,000 with a similar monthly cost. Do we have other folks? No, we solely went with this one because it is a DIR contract, so the state has approved it as a little bid.

So it would be voice over internet, so it would be integrated into the network, but we haven't been in bandwidth with that now.

We have a dedicated circuit, a wired circuit on the top of our network anyway.

I believe that it was more expensive than it was.

It was at least twice the price, if I recall. And last year, when we started looking at this, I had the company that did our transition to Brady, to Voigt Lines, look at the pricing, and they came in and

easier transition to go from our AT&T to the AT&T product. But we have demoed both of their products.
