Brief pause to get that. We're not quite live yet. Now we are. Okay, we're good now. Now we're live again. We can continue at 6:32. Joe, you're up. All right. Uh, first thing is we got the red pickup truck into the body shop and back. Excellent. Thank you for the help. Once I got into the to replace the bedside that was damaged, found a bunch of rust under it and the driver's side was already starting to bubble with rust. So, while they had it there, they did the other side of the bed also.

0:41 – 1:25Speaker 1

So, I I believe I did write it down. I think the the bill was like $4,300 to do both sides, but they were able to keep it and do it and get it all done for us. uh talked to Patrick a week or so ago about uh the trees on Washington Street at Sean W. I talked with them. They should have them done before the end of this week. Yeah. And same with Bible for the other back. They're just cutting completely down. Oh, perfect. Perfect. They were just growing so far out that we weren't able to get to the curb lines to plow last year and so we wanted to get with them first before we did anything. So that's good that they're taking care of it.

1:24 – 1:54Speaker 1

Great. Uh the community crossings grant paving is complete for this year. They got everything done. Uh the new the application period for 2025 opened October 1st and it closes on the 31st. So, that's all figured out now. I've got all the information to Jacqueline. She just has to do the application and get it submitted. Okay.

1:50 – 2:24Speaker 1

Uh then we got all the the water main break patches. Uh all the street patch sewer patches that were needed to be done were completed. Luckily, Milestone worked with us so they could get the guys to get the water and sewer done and they kind of put off the patches so they could do that all at one shot so we didn't have to deal with that. And the only other thing is the tower progress. It's they're painting right now. I saw that.

2:22 – 2:49Speaker 1

So, they should have probably about another week to week and a half of painting and then they will be in to start doing the the piping on the inside. Supposed to be online by the end of October. And then there will be a twoe window before the other one comes down to make sure everything is working on a new tower

2:48 – 3:18Speaker 1

in case we have to switch back to the old if something comes up. And probably the the paving and stuff will be probably put off. I'm guessing we'll be put off till spring. We're not going to have enough time to the weather's going to turn on us before they get the old tower down to get anything sight work done. So that's all we got. Thank you,

3:22 – 5:22Speaker 1

Uh our activities for September 2025 had a total of 178 calls for service. Of that we had 15 assists to St. County Police Department had unwanted person. Osborne Road, a burglary on Osborne Road, burglary Indian School Road, which is Rose Lake subdivision. on a 911 hangup on Pierce Road. Suspicious person on Kennallorth Road. Uh had an assault at Clearwater Trailer Park. Welfare check on New Road. Suspicious person on Oak Road. Mental investigation Riley Road. A suicide on Oak Road. An alarm on Quinn Road. Suicide on Oak Road. An alarm on Quinn Road. Criminal mischief New Road. Juvenile complaint on New Road. Then uh one we had a domestic at Clearwater trailer park and a fight on Roosevelt Road took a total of 13 reports for the month. Two noncriminal information, two crash reports, one operating while intoxicated, one theft, one possession of a controlled substance, one driving of a license, one animal bite, one mental investigation, uh one threat report, motor vehicle theft, and then a battery report. of that we had five arrests for the month. One arrest for theft, an arrest for operating while intoxicated, one arrest for possession of controlled substance, one driving never license, and one arrest for motor vehicle theft. Had a total of 19 tickets written for the month, and two local ordinance violations. Um, and just we've been working with everything, just trying to get everything prepared except for the fall festival, 10th annual fall festival this year for this upcoming weekend. So far with FFA, we have a total of we have 15 students volunteered for the day. National Honor Cider is going to be out as well as DECA and then Art Club will be doing face painting as they have done in the past.

5:20 – 6:01Speaker 1

So they need a big need they will need a table. Yes. Okay. So I know in the couple last couple years we put them up front. Um so we can probably do that. Yeah, we'll go over that Thursday. We put them up by the Lions Club because they're doing kids. So, can you bring your tent for them? Yes. Thank you. Yep. I have a question. While we're still in meeting, have you heard anything from the guy who owns the old truck lift place about whether when he'll be doing the window? I have not. He has concrete up there, the concrete blocks and some of that mixture that he dropped off last month. That was the last that I reach out to him, please.

5:59 – 6:37Speaker 1

I know he was wanting before winter. He was wanting that done before winter and um the paint on the outside as well. But he does have the materials there. He dropped the last was the he's got concrete there and a cement mixer. So he dropped a bunch of stuff one night when we were working. Just reach out and you know let him know that the board is asking about when he thinks Yeah. that window will be fixed and we've been trying to coordinate with them for between with EDC and RC to be able to meet up with them. So yeah, I'd like to see it done before winter. It's been too long, you know. It's bad look. It looks terrible.

6:36 – 7:21Speaker 1

Yeah, I've been talking to him at least once a month when he's every time when he's there just following up to see what progress he has. Thank you. Can you send us digital? You did? Yeah, both you and April. Okay. So you can get on the website on Yeah. Facebook. Yeah. Is this the time to ask about ordinances since since we're How long does the ordinance say that a trailer or camper can sit in somebody's yard? Two weeks occupied. That's it. Two weeks occupied. If it's not occupied, um, it can sit there, but it can't be where if it's a one, it can't be parked where it's at because it's too close to the property line and it can't be in the front of the house. It would have to be in the rear.

7:19 – 7:51Speaker 1

And it would apply to setbacks. Yeah. I think I could live with it if it were in the back of the house. Have you noticed at night if someone's actually there? They are. Yeah. Okay. I took a picture first day I saw it, but I'm guessing it's probably been there three weeks or Yeah, probably about two and a half. Yeah. Two and a half meters. I have to go back and look on Washington. There's one on Lake Street. That's on the property line, too.

7:48 – 8:33Speaker 1

Okay. Okay. They can't park in that parking lot anymore because somebody owns the old church parking lot. So that's on the other side up against the road on the property line. They'll be leaving in another week or so probably. But I'll take it to Florida. I didn't really want to say anything about this one if it doesn't stay long. But yeah. Yeah. As far as for being occupied, they're allowed to. They have like your mother-in-law suite basically kind of forget out of town guest, but after that point, they can't. They just moved to the house. Anything else on that? Nope.

8:34 – 9:17Speaker 1

RDC. Um, we have a meeting scheduled for October 27th. Hopefully everybody can be there for that. Um, and I was notified by Daniel and I knew this was going to happen, but he let me know this past week that we will probably be getting 50% less of the money we normally get twice a year in in next year anyway. Probably for the next couple years I guess. So may have to go on home for that. um the cap that they put on property taxes that everybody was able to apply for is mostly the reason. So,

9:18 – 10:02Speaker 1

all right. Good news is the barns running out every weekend, right? Yeah. Okay. Anything else? No, I think that's all I have for you. The path is looking great. whoever you had come in to take care of all that and cut things back. It's I don't know that it's been cut back yet, but it's been sprayed. Huge difference. She went from some areas where there was about 2 feet maybe and you're getting briars everywhere and now it's 4 foot minimum all the way through. Minimum. There's lots of areas that were different. So, whoever did it, kudos. Yeah. Somebody threw this card. Yeah.

10:00 – 10:27Speaker 1

Yeah. It's much much better. So I adultery just to hire somebody to do it because it was too it's too much. It's a lot. He wasn't hired to do that. Okay. Thank you. Same guy cut the path down. Cut these down like Leo's last week. He's going to cut it one more time and then we're going to start mowing it.

10:25 – 11:05Speaker 1

Okay. and hoping to get a couple picnic tables in there. And then he did some u digging in the hill, exploratory digging in the hill, find out what's in there. And there was a congregation. So we're going to clear it and see what we're deciding. Speaking of codes, should you have a silk fence around where you're putting the parking lot in the church? The church. The church. Yeah. Oh, the dirt. Yeah, cuz you had a gully washer not too long ago that if it gets into that list station, that list station's done.

11:03 – 11:47Speaker 1

I don't think it's over that far, but we looked into what they're doing over there and what they need. I know my veteran's the one that's been doing the fill. Yeah, that day that the dirt, everything was all the way around the street and everything going in the storm sewer. Mhm. Okay. Well, Mike's the one that's been filling it in. So you have to notify the church and then Mike should know better. So he may have stuff up there to Christmas tree. Yeah. Christmas tree. You're getting to come out of hell or high water this year. Christmas.

11:44 – 12:28Speaker 1

Okay. So are you talking about like right after Thanksgiving that long? Yes. Like when are you going to do it? Have you thought about when I think I was looking at the dates. If it works out, I'll get with Finn and see when we can get people to do the lights in town. And if we've got the boom trucks, we will string the lights on the tree while we have the boom truck. Okay. Awesome. So, we'll have them hooked up one way or the other as far as electric. Awesome. The electric's still not hooked up there. Well, everything's in the ground. Yes. Any order?

12:26 – 13:09Speaker 1

I'll follow I talked to Denny about that last week. I'll follow up with them because they have a work order. Mhm. Cuz we're still waiting on the camera. We've waited all summer on basketball hoops because we don't have the camera. Yeah. And the other ones are supposed to be installed. The other three this week cuz they gave me the week of the six. Finally, the permits were approved by the state. So, for the cameras? Yeah. For the other three. Yes. There's one at 431, one down by one at 4314. Yep. One by 8 by Leaper, and then the other one will be by um um Summerfield right there, but right on State Road 4, west of um Morning Sight, Mangus, Breezewood,

13:06 – 13:50Speaker 1

Breezewood. Yeah, west of West of Breezewood. So, it'd be west of Mangus. Okay. before Mangus. And what is it going to be back for? Oh, the we were waiting on the camera right up there and for the electric from AE cuz we have the we have new hoops to go up there, but we didn't want them getting to get them installed before. Yeah, we didn't want to get them. Okay. Might have to buy some more. They they can't even respect a book that's in the free little library. I don't expect them to respect. Okay. We have the backboards and rims and stuff and we Yeah.

13:49 – 14:06Speaker 1

that we can use to we have cameras. We prefer them not to get destroyed. So, we're just waiting on anything else.

14:01 – 14:43Speaker 1

No. Okay. Jine, on to old business. We have the IT. So I called the IT person that I had you guys looking at the one in Walker. So I called Tower Walker. So they never called back but Nap called me and they've been using them for 10 years and they said they like them. They buy all their computers from them. Um we went through all that before. We talked about this before, right? We need to get quotes. So did they you wanted to know you wanted like from people who used

14:40 – 15:05Speaker 1

Yeah. I had the quote. It was like I think 200 a month but she manages like she'll come in and do background you know backups and all that. So out of the quote you had that was one we recommended or we looked at. Wooa. Oh wa. Yeah. Yeah. She's been doing all of their stuff for a long time. And she doesn't ac.

15:08 – 15:52Speaker 1

Okay. With you, Andy. I know. But the other one that was out of Walker was like $400. Yeah. So, at the next meeting, if you can bring those again. Bring those so that way we can see um in front of us to make a decision again. And as long as the information is all there, we can make a decision. Okay. I just sent a text to Heartland Church and to my picture about those. Thank you. Okay. Did you have anything else? I do not. Do you have anything else? Any of the departments have anything else? There's another item on the agenda. There's what?

15:51 – 16:33Speaker 1

There's another item on the agenda. The trees. We already talked about those. Okay. Oh, no. These are different ones. This is where it says Patterson. I was like, we just talked about the trees on Patterson. No, this is where Denny's going to really hate me. Your trees. No. Okay. Right here. Hold on. Do we have a formal complaint on the trees? I can write one. Okay. Bus driver. Uh, who was it? Joe Kenny watch last year. He had complained that before. So it depends on what you're driving. You're talking about the one in front of Anna's old right here.

16:31Speaker 1

The one right here on the corner by out old out.

16:41 – 17:24Speaker 1

I think it just needs trimmed down the bottom. Maybe you cut it down. You can answer for it. I can do that. I'm just I'm just saying you have to pull out almost into the highway and it's just bad. It's a safety hack. I think that one I think that one might just be able to get away with maybe trimming it. It depends on what vehicle you're driving. Last year I couldn't see anything out of car and you're in certain vehicles that are having a hard time. Does it become your responsibility to trim the street? No one. No one. I'm just telling you all that that's probably

17:21 – 18:05Speaker 1

Yeah, the one the one at Lake Trail was uh that one was trimmed this late going in there because he's the one that's doing the mowing and stuff. Thanks. Yeah, he Yeah, he trimmed some of it. Yeah, you guys can see cuz it was trimmed. Some was I know some of them. Just to preace that these trees were not our choice when it was all installed. They were suggested by the group. Yeah, we're we're only letting you know because complain about them. Yeah, that's right. The bus driver more than anybody I think is the one that actually I took really in like if the bus driver

18:04 – 18:49Speaker 1

Yeah, it's like slightly in the winter. It's probably not as bad as it is in the summer, but I think but see through the branch. Yeah. Maybe make like a tunnel through it. Yeah. I think there's there's at least if one of the lower another one of the lower limbs is taken off, they would lower obviously the bus take the whole tree out. Yeah. We're just passing on info so that everybody knows. Is there anything we can help you guys with this evening? Let me know your audio.

18:48 – 19:31Speaker 1

Serious huge thanks. Your assistance was appreciated. Oh my gosh. We're We're glad that you told us because we would have known because way to tell it it showed like it was thriving. I'm just like eating up people tomorrow. Oh my goodness. Can't read lips. Okay. So, if going once, going twice, anybody anything? If not, then I would like to make a motion to call this meeting at 6:51 p.m. Oh, one more. Sorry. Friday night, the church is having a bonfire. They just wanted to let everybody know that it's controlled and they will have what church water hoses and whatever they need which church the heartland

19:29 – 20:09Speaker 1

they're doing that Friday night just so that way if there's anything that comes in right now I guess there's a burn ban in place for St. Also, it went into effect today. It can burn if there's a burn, but it's going to rain tomorrow. So, as long as there's not if there's still a burn ban on Friday, they will not do it. Um Aaron wanted me to bring that up tonight. He just messaged me. But with the rain that we have coming, as long as the burn bands lifted, they're going to do that and just wanted the fire department and police department to know that's their plan. So, that really is all I have at 6:52 p.m.

20:07 – 20:46Speaker 1

So, we have the budget hearing today. What day do you have? Which meeting do you have for the adoption? This one. The next one. Good. Cool. All I want to ask. But for that, we need last year's last year's plus this year's. We always like, we usually like to see three. Remember, we've done three years. But I didn't. Even if we just have this year so we can see what it was versus what it will be because what we saw today with what it will be tells us nothing about whether it went up down where the money's going versus where it is now. Okay.

20:42 – 20:59Speaker 1

So we need to see that before we adopt really now it's still 653. Do I have a motion? Second. All those in favor. Thanks again for letting us know and for calling for help.
