Thank you. Then item four on our agenda is the public hearing. Item 4.1 is discussion and action on resolution number 26-3637, declaring and adopting the official canvas of the results of the primary election held on July 21st, 2026. Ms. Williams.

here in city council on tuesday july 21st 2026 lake havasu city held a primary election for the purpose of nominating one mayor and three council members for the november 3rd 2026 general election on monday august 3rd 2026 the mojave county board of supervisors canvassed and declared the july 21st 2026 primary election returns official by their resolution 2026-136 the official results of the lake havasu city primary election were as follows total number of ballots cast in the lake havasu city primary election was fifteen thousand six hundred thirty nine total votes cast for office of mayor dave johnson six thousand nine hundred fifty seven cal sheehy eight thousand two hundred twenty five JOHN GRAPPENTINE, WRITEN, 88. WRITEN, NOT ASSIGNED, 30. FOR TOTAL VOTES CAST FOR OFFICE OF MAYOR, 15,300. TOTAL VOTES CAST FOR OFFICE OF COUNCIL MEMBER, JENNY KOCH, 5,949. TAYLOR HARRISON, 5,629. MICHELLE LIN, 8,902. TERRY K. PARCELS, 3,320. SAM SCARMARDO, 6,852. NEIL TINSLEY, 6,290. KIMBERLY ZANNON, 2,759. RYDEN, NOT ASSIGNED, 57. FOR TOTAL VOTES CAST FOR CITY COUNCILMEMBER, 39,758. Any candidate who receives at the primary election a majority of all votes cast shall be declared elected to the office for which that person is a candidate effective as of the date of the general election. Included in your packet is a copy of resolution tonight, along with exhibit A, which is the Lake Havasu City official canvas. the Mojave County Board of Supervisors resolution, and the Mojave County official results. I'm happy to answer any questions or anything that's provided to you in your packet.

I move to adopt resolution number 26-3637, accepting the results of the July 21st, 2026 primary election as presented, canvassed, and declared official by the Mojave County Board of Supervisors by the resolution number 2026-136.

based on the certification of the official canvas of the july 21st 2026 lake havasu city primary election results it is found determined and declared of record that cal sheehy was elected to the office of mayor in and for lake havasu city and has issued a certificate of election Further, based on the certification of the official canvas of the July 21st, 2026, Lake Havasu City primary election results, it is found determined and declared a record that Michelle Lin and Sam Scramardo were elected to the office of council member in and for Lake Havasu City and are hereby issued a certificate of election. And then further based on the election of the official canvas of the July 21st, 2026 Lake Havasu City primary election results, it is found determined and declared of record that a general election will be held on November 3rd, 2026 to elect one council member. The following two candidates receive the highest number of votes cast and shall have the right to have their names placed upon the official ballot for office of council member at the general election. Jenny Koch, Neil Tinsley. ALL SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES IN THE PRIMARY ELECTION AND GENERAL ELECTIONS WILL TAKE OFFICE ON NOVEMBER 24, 2026. WITH THAT, IF THE CANDIDATES WOULD LIKE TO COME UP, WE HAVE A CERTIFICATE OF ELECTION AND ALSO CERTIFICATE OF NOMINATIONS.
