PROCLAMATION FOR RELAY FOR LIFE MONTH
It is recommended the City Council proclaim September 2026 as Relay for Life Month in the City of La Mirada and present a proclamation to Rose Bourassa.
PROCLAMATION FOR NATIONAL PREPAREDNESS MONTH
It is recommended the City Council proclaim September 2026 as National Preparedness Month in the City of La Mirada and present a proclamation to CERT Member Gonzalo Chavez.
APPOINTMENT TO YOUTH COUNCIL
It is recommended the City Council reappoint Isabelle Alejandre, Ethan Hall, Madison Souza, Sienna Dominguez, Emma Vanden Dries and Carol Eskandar and appoint Melinna Jimenez to the La Mirada Youth Council for terms expiring in October 2027.
DESIGNATION OF A VOTING DELEGATE FOR THE LEAGUE OF CALIFORNIA CITIES ANNUAL CONFERENCE AND EXPO
It is recommended the City Council designate Mayor Anthony A. Otero to serve as the City of La Mirada’s voting delegate at the League of California Cities Annual Conference and Expo.

APPROVAL OF MEETING MINUTES
It is recommended the City Council approve the minutes of the regular City Council meeting of August 25, 2026.
APPROVAL OF WARRANT REGISTER
It is recommended the City Council approve the warrant register dated September 8, 2026 for a total amount of $3,432,895.82.
CITY COUNCIL REQUEST FOR CONFERENCE ATTENDANCE
It is recommended the City Council approve Councilmember Bean’s request to attend the California Contract Cities Association Executive Board’s Annual Strategic Planning Session.
RESOLUTION NO. 26-25 REVISING PURCHASING LIMITS FOR NON-PUBLIC PROJECTS AND PUBLIC PROJECTS
It is recommended the City Council adopt Resolution No. 26-25 revising the purchasing limits for non-public projects and public projects.
PREVIEW OF THE LA MIRADA THEATRE FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS 2026-27 SEASON
It is recommended the City Council review and discuss the preview of the La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts 2026-27 Season.
