Any opposed? Thank you. 6.2. The authorization of modification to facility sustainment repair modernization cooperative agreement with National Guard Bureau for the repair aircraft shelters B325 project development service director Ian Fazzy.
Uh good evening council. Happy new year to you all. You're probably looking at this and thinking this looks suspiciously like the one we did last month which it is. It's the they come in pairs. So, we have to approve the one contract and then come back and approve the other. This is for um an amendment of 279,46. All of which is covered by the military. And uh just to remind you of the details, this is for leadbased paint abatement on one of the big hangers, repainting, removing roofing, and removing existing damaged uh materials that have just kind of become available. uh became knowledgeable as as we move through the project. Additional steel flanges and plates, a lot of technical things on the construction side, but it's what goes into these type of agreements. It's it should be covered by contingency money, but because the military doesn't do contingencies, we have to bring that back to council every time we change these things. So, project's going pretty well, but this is to cover the additional work that was uncovered.
Questions or comments? I'll entertain a motion. I'll move to authorize the city manager to execute modification number two, city reference number three to the facility sustainment repair modernization cooperative agreement with the National Guard Bureau in the amount of $279,46 for the repair aircraft shelters B3 B325 project. Second. All in favor say I. I. Any opposed? Heather Matters. Happy New Year everyone. I have something. Go ahead.
I wanted to follow up on the keys for the different parks and things with the fire department. I haven't heard any updates on it and I was just hoping that we were staying on that just because it is a safety concern, especially as weather gets cooler and there could be an incident. So, I just want to make sure that stays on our radar to get keys from the various different trails and park access so that if there is an incident, the fire department and police department can get to whomever needs those services. City manager. Yeah. Yeah, I can provide an update on that. Uh, we do have a key to the this is to the gate that goes into uh Link River Trail, I think the one you're referencing, and we actually do have a key to that and so does the fire department.
Okay. But if it came to a they they have bolt cutters. They would just cut cut the lock. It's daisy chain. They would just cut it and get in if they needed to. And how did they get into more park if there's an incident? The same way our our police department has a Okay. Yeah. Okay. Cuz I heard that when the police when the fire department was called that they didn't have a key and that was like a big barrier for them getting to this constituent that reached out about it. So we did check Okay. But like I said, they they would cut it even if they didn't. Okay. Just want to make sure. Thank you. Any other questions, comments? Okay. Motion to adjurnn.
Move. Second. All in favor say I. I. Any opposed? Meeting is adjourned. Say that.
