City Council - Regular Meeting

The Kitsap County Board of Commissioners approved several resolutions, including the appointment of Fred Borgmann to the Veterans Advisory Board and the designation of May 2026 as Building Safety Month, Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, and ALS Awareness Month. The board also approved resolutions supporting the 2026 Water Festival, National Correctional Officers and Employees Week, and National Police Week. Additionally, the board approved contracts for jail roof replacement, a new roundabout, and pedestrian and bicycle facility improvements, and a contract amendment for the Central Kitsap Treatment Plant upgrades. The board also addressed fee updates for community development and a budget amendment.
