about this sojourner. This is different.
Okay. Okay.
All right. Good evening. I'm calling this July 6th Special Laws and Rules League meeting to order. It's 647. First item on the agenda is the Sojourner Truth, Water, and Sewer Agreement with the Town of Ulster. Hi, everyone.
Stand up. SO AT THE LAST FINANCE MEETING I PRESENTED, THE COMMITTEE APPROVED THE INTERMUNICIPAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN SAN JOSE AND THE CITY OF GONZALEZ. THAT WAS THE SECONDARY AGREEMENT TO THE PRINCIPAL AGREEMENT. THIS IS THE PRINCIPAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN STATE PARKS for the creation of the park and the sewer system and water system so the other agreement you reviewed was for the metering and how how they're going to get paid for our services right this is the main agreement and i didn't present it at the last meeting because it wasn't mine i haven't had i have to not I didn't want to, there was a lot of talk of in it, and I wasn't confident what was going to be accepted in P&O 11. So this is the final version of the principal regime to the end of June.
Any questions for Rebecca? Oh, since you said that there are a lot of markings on that, is this the final version that's been agreed to by the parties?
Yes, that's right.
So this is again signed by Tom Donatley, Leticia James, the City of Kingston. Okay.
Oh, I do have some other questions.
Sure. And that's, this may not be covered in this agreement, but does the city have adequate sewer supply to be able to handle this?
This sewer system is being built.
Oh, it's being built. So we'll have the capacity. That's part of the funding. So we'll have it in the U.S. and India. And would we then, as the cities, be responsible for any repairs, not anything, or no?
The system will be wholly owned by the state. How it's being funded and done, we probably have to maintain ownership of it.
Thank you. Those are my two big concerns.
So I'm just going to take a... Yeah, sorry.
At least it disappears when I was checking. Oh, great. Oh, sure.
So, Rebecca, will this be the language similar to the last one, allowing, giving permission to the mayor?
Yes, authorizing the mayor to execute. Okay. Great.
How long is this one for? Hey, are you there? I just feel screaming.
The costs. Yeah, there's a. There's something over there. It seems like there's a difference. It seems like there's a difference. It seems like there's a difference. It seems like there's a difference.
It seems like there's a difference.
It seems like there's a difference.
Well, I was in my office and they said, we can't get calls out here. You got to go to satellite phone or Wi-Fi. So I switched over to the Wi-Fi. it's not okay
Okay, so I'm going to read the resolution. A resolution by the Common Council of the City of Kingston authorizing the mayor to execute a 10-year agreement with the Office of Parks, Recreation, and Historic Preservation, Palisades Interstate Park Commission, Town of Ulster, and the City of Kingston for the Sojourner Truth Park. May I get a motion? A second? Okay. Okay, discussion? Okay. i call for the vote all in favor all right next we going to go back to some old business it's the loading zone on broadway at meter 127.
What's the address of Broadway? I didn't look at that. It's Stony Soup. Stony Soup. I think it's 141 Broadway. 470 470 That sounds very good. City Hall is 420. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So basically this is to correct a misunderstanding that I had with the shopkeeper.
She had indicated that she wanted the meter in front of her store, and as it ends up, it's a little to the side. So this is to correct the meter number from 127.
127 is correct. Yes.
From 127. Saying it again.
Saying it again.
Thank you. All right. So this is a resolution of the County Council establishing a loading zone from the hours of 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. every day at 470 Broadway parking meter number 127. Can I get a motion? Motion. Second. Any discussion?
The reason this is on laws and rules, I mean, I explained it to Tara and Michelle, is just to get this done.
um this has to go back and forth a couple times so I just wanted this to happen for them so thank you Sydney thank you thank you okay uh all in favor any opposed uh zero thank you now I call for a motion to adjourn special log in the boys
all in favor okay we have four minutes off okay i'll see you in a few all right lisa we'll see you in a minute
