New business resolution has introduced resolution 25,020, a resolution by the city of Jonesboro, Arkansas to enter into an agreement with William Graham Junior Incorporated to provide professional services for track work on city owned railroad.

Whereas the city of Jonesboro desires to enter into an agreement to provide professional services for the installation of switch point items in the Cricket Technology Park industrial lead track from the derail station two plus zero five plus or minus at Burlington Northern San Francisco mainline connection to Station 238 Plus 81 and repair the at grade crossing at Frito Lay Drive and replace four sets of number nine switch ties. Whereas W. William Graham Jr. Has successfully provided design and construction administration on other city owned rail project and is familiar with the track network and whereas William or W. William Graham, Jr, Incorporated has agreed to provide professional services for the track work on city owned railroad as described in the attached agreement, and whereas the funding for the execution of the agreement shall come from the 2025 capital improvement budget and compensation shall be paid in accordance with the agreement.

Now therefore be it resolved by the City Council for the City Of Jonesboro, Arkansas that section one that the city of Jonesboro shall enter into an agreement with W. William Graham Junior Incorporated to provide professional services for track work on city owned railroad. Section two, the funding for the execution of the contract shall come from the 2025 capital improvement budget compensation shall be paid in accordance with the agreement. Section three, the mayor and city clerk are hereby authorized by the city council for the city of Jonesboro to execute all documents necessary to effectuate this agreement. I motion second to approve and forward the full council.
