Nominating and Rules Committee - Regular Meeting

We're gonna go ahead and call nominating and rules to order. Give me just one second. Get my ducks in a row. First item of business is approval of minutes. Minutes twenty five zero one five. Attendance. Oh, I'm sorry. Please mark your attendance. Now we're gonna move on to approval of minutes, minutes 25, zero, one, five from 02/24/2025. I'll give you a moment to review, then I'll entertain a motion.

Second. I have a motion and second. Please mark your vote. Next item of business is new business resolutions to be introduced. Resolution to the city council, city of Jonesboro, Arkansas to make appointments and reappointments to boards and commissions as recommended by Mayor Harold Copenaver.

This is the one that I pulled off of the last meeting just for transparency purposes and so that A and P would have an opportunity to vet the candidates that the mayor put forth appointment or the candidate, the at large candidate which was John Williams. A and P met this week and we did confer that. So resolution to the city council of the city of Jonesboro, Arkansas to make appointments or reappointments to boards and admissions as recommended by Harold Copenaver whereas the following appointments reappointments have been recommended by Mayor Harold Copenaver. There be it revolt, may now therefore be it resolved by the City Council, City Of Jonesboro, Arkansas that following appointments and reinforcements be confirmed. Jonesboro Advertising Promotions Commission, appointment of Brian Emerson to a four year term ending threeonetwenty nine, appointment of John Williams to complete the unexpired term of Dan Doss ending '27.
