Okay. Good afternoon, everybody. We're gonna go ahead and we are gonna call to order the Public Safety Council Committee meeting for the city of Jonesboro. First on our agenda tonight, we have call to order. So, we'll go ahead and we will take attendance. If you will denote your attendance by pressing the button in front of you. Okay, we do have four members present and we do have a quorum. Thank you everybody. Next on our agenda is the approval of minutes from previous meeting on Tuesday, October 21. I'll move to adopt unless any changes are noted.

Thank you everybody. Moving on to our next item on the agenda being new business, we have a ordinance to be introduced that would be ordinance 25,040. An ordinance to amend ordinance 17,026 relating to the towing services in the city of Jonesboro. Whereas the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas currently regulates the price structure for towing services for the citizens of Jonesboro and whereas this ordinance only relates to request for towing initiated by departments of the city of Jonesboro, and whereas data has been submitted that demonstrates the rates established in 2017 are not in conformity with current economic standards, and whereas the following amended language of chapter 66 dash 83 is to be adopted with all other language remaining the same. Be it ordained by the city council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas section one, that sections of chapter 66 dash 83 shall be updated with the following language.

Section a chapter two, change in the after hours release fee from $30 to $75 Section a chapter 16, change the following fees as follows. Citywide base response rate from $125 to $225 secondary towing from $75 to $150 per loaded mile outside city limits from $2 to $5 winch fee $100 standby charges per hour $150 daily storage per day $50 and $100 per day for electric after hours release fee to $75 And I will entertain a motion to forward to full council. So moved. Second. Okay, I have a motion and a second to forward to full counsel.
