Good evening. I will call to order the city of Joliet board of fire and police commissioners meeting. Today is Monday, 03/09/2026 at 05:33PM roll call please chairman Adamowski present

we have a quorum first upon the agenda is citizens to be heard on agenda items Anybody would like to address the board? Seeing none, I'm seeking a motion to move to closed session above agenda items.

Aye. Motion carries. We'll be going into closed session. Okay. I am seeking a motion to come back into open session of the Board of Fire and Police Commissioners meeting on Monday, 03/09/2028 at 06:49PM.

Okay. Motion carries. We are now back into open session. Next up on the the agenda are four agenda items. For this portion of the meeting, We are going to refer to counsel Coyle who will go through each of these documents before we have a vote.

So the chairman, the first item on the agenda was a motion to accept the motion for discovery, which effectively is just a procedural matter of formally accepting the filing of the motion.

And then pursuant to discussion with both parties, it appears that the motion for discovery is being addressed. So the discussion would be to move to table the motion for pending any future hearing.

Alright. So that one is tabled. So then the next item on the agenda is the motion to accept the motion to reinstate salary and health insurance. Again, this is a procedural matter to just formally accept the motion itself.
