Planning Commission - Regular Meeting

Good morning. It is Thursday, August 20th at 10 o'clock. My name is John Ford. I'm going to be serving as the Zoni administrator today. And so the first item of business is to ask, are there any changes to the agenda? Not seeing any movement. And so I'm going to anticipate that there are no changes. And so the next item is the consent calendar. Yes, Mr. Kahn.

The Maples project, which is on the consent calendar, is being pulled?

Yeah, it's shown as being continued to a date uncertain. Oh, OK. Action on consent. OK. Thanks. So the next item would be the consent calendar. I'm going to go through the items and list them off. Anybody would like to talk about them, has any questions, raise your hand, somehow flag me, and I will pull them off the consent calendar, and they'll be discussed separately. For those items that remain on consent, we're going to take one action for all of them at one time, and then we will subsequently discuss those that were removed from consent. With that being said, the first item is the Maples Tree Removal Coastal Development Permit. I believe this is in the Eureka area, and this is being continued to a date uncertain. Is there anybody who would like to discuss this? The second item is the Humford Coastal Development Permit and Special Permit. And this is in the Oreck area. It's to allow removal of a 1450 foot square foot manufactured home and to be replaced with a 1584 square foot manufactured home in the same area. This is also being continued to a date uncertain. Is there anybody who would like to discuss this? Seeing none. Larry Paxton, going to move to the third item it's the very own networks coastal development permit it's a coastal development permit for vero fiber for the installation of fiber optic cables within the existing right away. The next item is the McKinleyville Community Services District force main. This is in the McKinleyville area. It's a coastal development permit for the McKinleyville Community Services District to replace the existing tenant sewer force main between the Letts Avenue lift station and the Murray Road manhole with a new force main. Is there anybody who would like to discuss this item? I'm seeing none. This will also remain on consent. The next item is the Avare Coastal Development Permit. This is also in the McKinleyville area. It's to allow removal of an approximately 960 square foot mobile home to be replaced with a new 1,404 square foot manufactured home on a permanent foundation at the same location. Is there anybody who would like to discuss this item? Seeing none, that's the end of the consent calendar. So it is the decision of the zoning administrator to act on all of the items just as staff has recommended. The Maples tree removal, coastal development permit, Hufford Coastal Development Permit and Vero Fiber Network Coastal Development Permit are all continued to a date uncertain. The McKinleyville Community Services District Forest Lane is approved as recommended by staff. And the Vare Coastal Development Permit for a new manufactured home is approved as recommended by staff.
