And it's an essential and important part of the planning board process. You may be familiar with other boards and commissions where we have public comments in each meeting for us because the application process is long sometimes a year and a half two years it would be inappropriate to have public comments midstream so the public hearing is the final piece of the process that an applicant goes through in the approval process so it's a it's an important aspect of the process it it also gives us the perspective of lived experience uh information that we may not have available to us except through your comments so thank you for making a commitment to be a part of the process, and we'll be here tonight to make comments. Essentially, Andrews is a developer that will, that's proposing to renovate the existing John Edwards buildings for 65 senior apartments, low-income apartments. The site is existing, as you all know, but we are not proposing any changes to the site. Everything will be done in the interior, some minor landscaping on the exterior and cleaning up the building, no additions or A major change. Thank you.

I'm Jennifer Belton. I am a representative for the board where this building is on the Common Council. and I just wanted to come here and say that I support this very much. It's a building that has stood derelict for a very long time, and they're still paying for it as community members. They have agreed to do all of the required remediation, and they are not, as they said, going to do any other site manipulation. So I'm super excited about this, frankly. I think it's something that our community needs, and I'm happy to support them.

Alan Lieber, 4th Ward. I'm here to say the same thing. I think this is a great project for the City of Hudson. It takes a derelict building, puts it on the tax rolls, and it provides housing for Hudson, which it needs. My question to the developers are, will the development take Section 8 housing vouchers?
