Planning Commission - Regular Meeting

Okay. Uh good evening everyone. Thank you for joining us. Uh we are going to open the meeting the uh August 18th, 2025 planning commission meeting. Uh this evening we have we're looking for a motion for continuance for file number 2025-15 that was requested by the applicant. Uh there will be no testimony and no deliberation. And Dustin, I believe you have some short things to say.

Sure. That that is all. Uh at the request of the applicant, uh the petition or request for site plan approval for tonight uh has been recommended to be continued or they've requested to be continued. Since it's been noticed, this action is to be taken by the planning commission. Meeting needs to begin simply continued. We will notice the meeting and request uh 20 days in advance per the hearing requirement. once we have a date set. Okay. Uh so do I have a motion to continue our hearing today? I motion to continue the hearing. Thank you, Commissioner Mcnary. Do we have a second? I'll second.

Days in advance. Does the does the public get notification of the hearings? Assuming that 20 20 days in advance 20 days.

Parties of record receive that in writing. In writing. Well, uh those within 250 ft will be mailed that notice and those who have provided their email uh will be provided that notice via email.

You bet. Absolutely. All written comments. Yeah. All all comments written or mailed are accepted. 20 days, no less than 20 days in advance of the meeting. Oh, it's supposed to hear at city hall

in in the city hall up front. Out front. So, you must come down to the city hall. It will not be in the legal section. It will not be in the legal section. That's correct. And be anywhere in the gorge. No. Not. So it will be yeah or or be a part of your record or submit comments. Again, we mail the notice out to people within 250 ft. That's the requirement by law. Does not uh take in the residents in the neighborhood. I understand have concerns.

Yeah. And that is the requirement. but also people who are interested generally we invite you to sign up uh receive notice of all the planning commission meetings. So we have a list of a couple hundred people who received notice not only for this event but all events that happen before the planning commission. So yep you can sign up on the website. Thank you.
