Council - Regular Meeting

No. That's right. I'll arrive. We're [clears throat] ready to go. Okay. Um let's call the meeting to order. Would everyone please rise for the pledge of allegiance? I aliance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for it stands one nation under God indivisible with liberty and justice for all.

This is a meeting of the Hillsdale Borl Council on this 3rd day of February 2026. Notice of the time and place of this meeting has been provided to the Bergen record as well as posted on our website as required pursuant to public law 2025 C-72 formerly Senate Bill 4654. A copy was also posted on the bulletin board outside of this meeting room and provided to any interested parties. Please silence all cell phones. Wait to be recognized by the mayor during the public hearing and the public comment part of the meeting. You will need to state your name and residence for the record. Council member Rugo here. We have a quorum. Great. Um we're going to um adjourn to close session. Um we've had a modification uh with the council. Please take us through it.

Yeah. Before we do that, am I correct? All right. Before we do that, um, we're going to go into close session, but the resolution should reflect that we are going into close session to discuss matters of attorney client advice with regard to the various proposals submitted for the cell signal gap study. So there's a very specific purpose that close session will last approximately 10 minutes and when we come out we will undertake our business with regard to consideration of the cell signal gap study proposals.

Okay. Does anybody have any questions? You understand where we are? No, I'm just glad because I was going to object to this resolution on the grounds that it did not what what was put out to the public did not explain what was going to be discussed. I only found out as a member of this council what was going to be discussed about when Denise sent out the the latest agenda around noon time. Well, now we know. So, now we do know.
