Moving on to our next item, Neighborhood Pride Enhancement Program Honorary Selection. Will the city staff member Arlene please come up for the Neighborhood Pride Enhancement Program presentation?

Good evening chair and committee members. Tonight we will be going over the quarterly nominations for the Neighborhood Pride Enhancement Program. As a refresher for the program, I'll be going over a brief presentation. The Neighborhood Pride Enhancement Program recognizes residents who have made exterior improvements or enhancements to their home, which contributes to the curb appeal and charm of Hesperia's neighborhoods. Features that the committee considers during selection include manicure landscaping, drought tolerant landscaping, rockscaping, flowers, plants, and trees, driveway resurfacing, window enhancements, exterior paint, and overall curb appeal. Program guidelines include the following. Only Hesperia residents may be nominated. Self nominations are allowed. Nominations must include a nomination form as well as before and after photos. Nominations are considered for a 12 month period at which point applicants may reapply if not selected and city employees or anyone affiliated with or a representative of the city are not eligible. The price package includes $1,000 in gift cards, $400 for Harbor Fright, $400 for Ace Hardware, and $200 for affordable decorative rock in Cal Herbold's Nursery. In addition to the gift cards, the honoree will also receive a Neighborhood Pride Enhancement Program yard sign. This concludes my presentation. Just a comment. I'm really pleased that we're keeping all of that money within Asperia. So great job to staff for getting creative and being able to choose locations within the city of Asperia to give that money. I was a huge advocate of that, not doing a $1,000 gift card for Home Depot, which takes some money out of our city. So great job on that. I have my rankings if you want to lead out.

I just want one comment as well to lead with backing what committee member Greg said. He was an advocate on making sure it was being spent in Hesperia. The next thing was that we wanted more people to apply and city staff. Obviously, we're seeing those numbers go up. So just thank you, Arlene, and thank you, city staff, for whatever you guys are doing. It's obviously working, so good job.

So CCAC members will rank houses on their personal scoring sheet. And then CCAC members will only share rankings from top to bottom. City staff member will enter rankings and confirm with CCAC members. Excel will automatically tally the points, and then the nomination with the lowest total points is the winner. Nomination with the second lowest total points is the runner-up. Can we go ahead and start off with Arlie's rankings?

I made mine with the appreciation of staff keeping the funding within the city of Espiria. And thank you for the additional reach out to the community. I think 11 is probably one of our highest numbers that we've received. It's a good job.

I'd also like to thank city staff for their work. Arlene, it looks like you put a lot of work and time into this, and it's greatly appreciated. In agreement with Member Craig, Greg, excuse me, I really appreciate keeping the money within the city of Hesperia. So thank you, and thank you, Yvonne, for all your work.

I think we are going to beat a record. I don't have any. Last council, we appreciated all of the recommendations from the advisory. It was last-minute changes, but don't let that impact how you choose. It's always last-minute in the council chambers, but I appreciated the vote and the selections. But other than that, I think I'm good.
