City Council - Regular Meeting

Good. Okay, welcome to our City Council work meeting for Wednesday, June 10th. Just kind of looking ahead, we do have a short work meeting. We did notice the other meetings for 6 o'clock, but this is going to be such a short work meeting.

I'm proposing we do closed right after, and then kind of put a stop on, kind of a hard stop of 645, and I think that'll give us plenty of time to get through those.

Because we're just closing two of them. The CRA and the others, you're going to open them and continue them. How long do we need them? I just want to be done by 7 for that one. The CRAs. Five. Ten minutes, absolutely. So even 22 then. So we'll put a hard stop on it or close it. 640 is it? So is everybody okay with that? Okay. So that's kind of 1.1. Any other changes tonight? I guess for public consumption, there are several items not being heard tonight. due to not having the certified tax rate we need. Okay. 1.2, future agenda items. I will say, Ryan approached us after about, he wants to do the gold star. He wants to kind of... I think we... He and I did just about how Draper did it, just involving, if you make it a community thing, not a city driven thing, you might need to find the right people to drive that. So it's not so snappy. Can we talk to Rice or what?

Yeah, Shelly and I met with a couple of cities and just through their process. So it's just, yeah, it's just time, right? Community driven, maybe that makes sense.

I have a list from last time, too. Butterfield Scholarship. Tonight. And... Rugby. It's July 8th. Okay. Is that the right date? Yes. So, we'll work through that list. Okay. And then we also had our Harriman Heroes at the rodeo. I don't know if you're interested in bringing them in. They got recognition on the screen, but I don't know if that's another one.

I think that'd be really cool. You want to bring in? Nine of them, right? I think three each night, four each night. That'd be cool.

You've never seen me, so yes, that's me. Status report, things continue to grow in a steady fashion. I will correct on the project updates that we have this widening in traffic signal estimated completion there is as was mentioned in our last meeting September of 26 and not the end of 26 which is what this report shows and then for sales tax basically year over year about level with where we were last year. So there are a couple things just to share and point out with you. Are there any questions for me or things to look into?

Thanks for that correction. I get asked at least every week about that project.
