you have all things in your hand.
We pray today that you would guide this time that we share together, that it would be beneficial to the work that you have put before us for Hardin County. Bless each one who is present and give us wisdom and guidance to be efficient in dealing with what's before us today. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen. And it's now 3.30 and we'll officially convene. And it's a very simple agenda. I didn't make experts. There's a few over there. financial report from our treasurer, Lisa Pearman.
I did send out the financial statement and the comparison. I did find an error, and I had fixed it, but evidently the file that I sent you all didn't have it correct. Bonnie caught that, but in the comparison, it was correct on the end. And it was just the, I didn't add the budget amendment to the expenditures in the back. so made to make make the number off a little bit, but the comparison had it right. But now these two are correct. Basically, we had at the end of May, um, restricted money of 19 million 16,479 dollars and 36 cents and non restricted funds at 33 million or 49. Oh, 76 10 given. So grand total of 52 million $465, $555.46. Any questions? Very good.
Thank you for catching that, making the correction.
I had fixed it, but I didn't do the file right when I sent it out to you guys. Then I did give you all the comparison. I have been working on the transfers for the end of the year And my goal is to only pull from the industrial fund and solid waste, not the other ones that we had budgeted. And that's working that way. But I still got some stuff that's got to still come in to finish that. I will send it out as soon as I get the total of how the flow is going to be out to you all, hopefully way before Tuesday. Hopefully by Monday, I'll have that. But I'm still waiting on a few things from the jail and some other stuff. And we just got through with payroll, which is the big deal. It's looking really good for us this year, so I'd like to report that.
Very good, yes.
Is that it, Lisa? That's it, sorry. Thank you very much. That's very good. I had plans to have this be very quick. Dina?
Okay, for the month of May, we added 35 new accounts. It's listed at $86,107.95. year-to-date from May 31st, we collected $3,495,808.54. And then we had a breakdown on there as far as what we've collected for this fiscal year.
Do you have any questions?
Can I get one of these? Oh, I'm sorry. That's all right.
Any questions? Thank you. Any questions? Thank you so much. Old business. I'm aware of none.
The old business is what are we doing about the cardiac monitors to fund them? The last thing was to find out what the interest rate would charge us on the loan versus what we're paying now. The maintenance agreement fire November 30th. It's a two-month, because the cardiac monitor's in, backs us up to September 30th. If we're going to finance it, it's public hearings. Whatever we have to do, we have to do a budget. That takes time. So we need to be making a decision by the first January is January. July is the 14th. So we would need to get a budget amendment in there to get everything in the process.
When's the next committee meeting? Not necessarily finance, just the next committee meeting.
It's after the 14th. It seems like all of them are after July 14th.
After the 15th. I think it would be best to have a special call finance meeting before magistrates are present. Yeah. Prior to. Wouldn't you agree, Cassie?
Yeah, I mean, we definitely need that.
Would we not be able to consider that? Possibly, what's the first meeting after fiscal court? Is that emergency services?
The first meeting is emergency services on the 9th.
Oh, okay. July 9th.
Oh, I thought they were all afterwards. I knew the finance was afterwards. I've got emergency services on July 9th.
Well, my recommendation would be for us to... Public Works.
Actually, Public Works is July 8th.
Get that information. Last time with the other equipment, we ended up renewing a maintenance agreement. Cost us, never got enough money back on it and the credit. We don't want to do that again.
I will check with Kenny then to be sure that's okay. And then we'll just make sure that all the magic, you know, that we're going to be addressing that there. So that we need to get as many as possible. Right.
We plan to address that at the public works meeting on the I think that's the best resolution to the only other thing about small one animal control their cop your lease came up and they just gave us the contract yesterday. And, um, not in time for the resource meeting. And they, it's $190 a month. It's for five years. It's the same copier. It'll go to, it's already gone over to Jenny to review. It's pretty standard. But their lease expires July 11th.
You know, just 30 days.
So it doesn't really need to go through committee, really. But if y'all want to, it's just that
Is it roughly the same price still?
Yeah, it's within probably $10. It's $190. I didn't find out how much they were doing, but I know ours was even a little bit less. They're kind of, the copiers aren't as fast, but I think as long as that's reflected in the minutes, I don't think that's going to be an issue.
She'll review it.
Hopefully July 14th. I mean, we could run it through one of the other companies. I don't see any of that.
You know, it's a standard. I don't see a problem with putting it on that for Tuesday.
I mean, I would put it on the agenda for Tuesday.
Oh, okay. And it's no problem. I mean, they'll let you. The problem is it will be much longer. It's the same people, so they'll let you keep that copier for a little while. I just didn't want to extend it out too
don't see an issue as long as the price with this comparable i mean if we and if we agree that it should be brought to the first july meeting that makes sense to me yeah i'll just indicate that yeah i think if jenny uh gets it reviewed i would go ahead with it on july with the 23rd and if not we can hold it for um for the next fiscal court meeting
Thank you very much. Any other old business? Any new business? If not, I'll declare this meeting adjourned at whatever time it is now.
