A family favorite springtime event returns to Greer City Park. Updates on a road closure happening this week and a historic celebration you won't want to miss. Head to the historic Greer Depot from 1 to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday for a conversation about our community's founding and earliest days. Heritage Museum director David Lovegroveve will tell stories of Greer's tumultuous past as we continue to celebrate the city's sesqua centennial year. Easter is right around the corner, and that means it's time to grab your baskets and head to Greer City Park for the annual Easter eggtastic event. Enjoy live music, activities, food trucks, and even photo ops with the Easter Bunny himself. The fund begins at 11:00 a.m. and runs until 1:00 p.m. A portion of South Main Street will be closed between Pennsylvania and Randall Street from Tuesday the 17th until Thursday the 19th as CSX Transportation conducts maintenance work on the railroad. Keep an eye out for signs detailing a temporary detour until work is completed. Don't forget the big bash is coming up on March 28th.
