Okay. Next is Trail Committee. We had a meeting last week um and we kind of made some plans. We talked about some and I will talk more about this. I guess I guess I could talk. Um, we went to the water board committee meeting and I am so glad that we did because they looked at the plan of this boy scouts uh project and they had some concerns and about safety and uh of the plant and of the uh of the dam and everything. And so it was kind of decided that to move from going that direction up up to the uh water towers and over to the dam that we would flip over to the other side and that we would talk about building a bridge going I believe it's on the south loop on the south loop of it and everything. So we're going to be talking about that. We just need to get approval which we'll talk about that in a minute. And then on the committee, we just had more conversations about how we can build the plan out further on the south side of the lake. Um, we also talked about maybe trying to get one of our current grants that we have right now switched over from that grant so that we could use it as a master plan for a master trail sidewalk. Is it sidewalk as well or just just a back and pedestrian and everything a trail? So, we're talking to AR dot if we can do that. Um, so any questions?

All right. Uh, the next one is tree and plant board. I have no report. Okay. U recreation committee. Nothing at this time. All right. Items to be added to the agenda. You don't I don't think there's any reason to add Western.

All right. A financial update. Very quickly balances 11:30 last month total amount in all funds collectively as of 11:30 was 519,000 down below that we've already funds by 199,000 budget 39 197 What I want to do is show you today. This is the same as our first,589,000 budget to 188,000. That includes your

far talked about last We were talking. So I wanted to show you after we did that and we had a budget study session last night was one of the discussed in that meeting. We explained why we were doing that taxpayers. And it serves two purposes. up the general unrestricted monies for their operations and it shifts it to the tax ment. grasp based on using the restricted money for that purpose. So we ended up with a $3,532 surplus.

That's what I'll give you. This is what our budgets department It was looking at that $867,000 department,000. Department next are coming up tomorrow. The only remaining general that number But made significant progress on this 867 48750,000 That's not

in order for us to have a balance surplus,000 Just wanted to give you a feel for how your contribution is factoring overall. That's pretty much it. This is the money expend. on the left. Wrap up on the right.

And the other thing is Yes. So the only thing this year being in the next couple weeks.

So the You see that realizing that 494,500 shows you It's all accumulated here. The idea is that that will be incorporated into your estimated start So we were situ

and completion date. If we were if we get the order in Janu in March and the other order will we be able to have this open by the summer? Okay.

We do. We need to talk about that. The AM has granted us 40% this year. Does that Okay. The AM uh has uh decided instead of doing 45% this year uh they will do 40% and that they request that all Boy Scout projects go through them going forward and everything. So they just to have the have the gentleman have the experience of filling out a grant and talking to people about we are going from 45 to 40% from the grant. to go and apply for monies for all the Boy Scouts. So, we don't have to include that in our budget. Yeah, I guess it's apples and apples, but yeah.

There's your 40%,000 right now. As far as capital improvement projects, capital expend. 628. That's where these numbers coming from. When you look at what that does as far as revenue is concerned, still going to be more% But clarification opposite could happen if there's if we have another 10% or 5% or 4% or whatever that cuts into our in that stuff. So that's it would be kind of we need to be watching that. So when we start planning our events and everything like that,

We would have money. That's the rev. down. You don't see that shows us what our principal So that's interest because drops you down. But again, I mentioned to the city council review yesterday,000

more after this year. You're going to be getting loan officially about $137,000 a year from that build that hopefully success And you'll have still be project. Have we publicized that this inclusion park is coming and that and everything?

Okay. Okay. So, that'd be a great publicity thing, especially going into the March

voting. Just what do we do? We have anything planned for like these are the money that we've built the splash pad. This is what your money is being used for. We got all that. And clarification, if it doesn't pass in March, we have another chance in November. And it's just not our department. It goes to the fire department and street. Correct.

All right. Uh the next item on our agenda is Boy Scouts project approval. Uh we have two young men who are wanting to get approval to build a one wishes to build a bridge on the South Loop over Vas Grass Creek. Little Vash Creek. Uh that would be kind of the starting of the south side of the trail committee. Uh he would like to build a bridge there. We have another young man who would like to put little p uh pendons or blazes to thoroughly mark the trail. and he would like to create a map of the trail system and to put it in our kiosk system. Also along that time he would like there are some false trails coming coming down from the houses. He would like to at least put something there saying hey this is this is not part of the trail system that goes up into a private property. Um, we would need approval from our committee or from our commission uh to give these young men the approval to start these projects. Do we have any questions

on the blazes? What side of which trail is it? On the north side or the south side? It was the north side, wouldn't it? Okay. Right. Yeah. And then he's wanting to create the map at the kiosk. Are there two kiosk? There's one, isn't there?

They are not asking us to finance. That has to go before the&p. what they are asking for us is that we give our blessings for them to start the project since it's on uh park property and everything. So they So what we would need is a um motion to approve that the Boy Scouts start uh on the south side a bridge uh over Little Vas and then another project to uh map out the system and put the little blazes on there.
