Lord, we're thankful for today, God, and God, we're thankful for our Greenville City Council as they seek your guidance, Lord, to make the decision to lead our county. We thank you for them, their families. And we thank you for all of our first responders that you'd keep your hand on them, keep them safe in our neighborhoods, in our county, our city. And Lord, we just ask you to bless them and help us today in Jesus name. Amen.

So, we want to show our gratitude for Terry's dedication to protecting our community for 21 years and say a prayer for strength for his loved ones left behind and his brothers and sisters in blue. I'd like to ask for Betty and his family to come up to the podium so that we honor Terry's memory and thank him. And Chief Spano then will offer a prayer. Come on around, mayor. Thank you. Yes.

No farewell words were spoken. No time to say goodbye. Gone home before we knew it. Our hearts still ate in sadness and secret tears still flow. What is meant to lose you? No one. But now we know you want us to mourn for you no more. To remember all the happy times life still has. It should never be forgotten. We pledge to you today. We cherish place within our hearts.
