Mr. Pickett has adjourned the meeting. Yes. Mr. Pickett has adjourned the meeting.

0:55Speaker 3

Mr. Steele.

0:56Speaker 7

Tell us how you complied with our requirements. Oh, um... And if you want to lay anything out, lay it down on the... The camera will take it and put it on the screen. And if you don't talk in that microphone, grab the one on the... Put it over the X. There you go.

1:05 – 1:32Speaker 3

Okay. So, we don't have new drawings at this point. We do have your notes on here that we need to change the brick base to a white split block base to match the building better. We have a note that we need to double-check that we have a 10-foot setback from the right leg for the placement of the sign, and we need to call out some split landscaping for decoration around the sign. We are not in charge of that. It all comes through the national company. As soon as we receive updated drawings, we can send them to you. But we are aware of the changes that need to be made, and we do intend to make them.

1:33Speaker 7

You're going to comply with everything we've asked for?

1:34Speaker 3

Yes, absolutely.

1:35Speaker 7

The extent that we want landscaping, that sort of thing? Yes. I'll add that we usually ask you for a four-season landscaping plan. Yes. Meaning there's something to the landscaping plan every season with loose foliage and loose flowers.

1:45 – 1:57Speaker 3

And we have had the layout before. We've had great success with dwarf boxwoods for the evergreens. We've also done landscaping with daylilies and low-growing salvia. We're not in charge of that, but we have done this before, so we can get suggestions for whoever will do the landscaping.

1:58Speaker 6

Any questions? I have a couple. So do you think you'll be able to modify these plans before the Planning and Zoning Commission two weeks from now?

2:03Speaker 3

Yes, we are in contact with the national company so we can let them know the deadline and write the plan before then.

2:08Speaker 6

Okay, so you represent Heritage Land State Supply?

2:10Speaker 3

I'm representing Last Sign Lighting. We're the ones that are going to be installing the signage, yes.

2:14Speaker 7

But you've been hired to represent Heritage Land State Supply?

2:17Speaker 7

You're actually their agent?

2:18Speaker 7

And I think what you want to say is your plan is to have it before the Planning and Selling Commission?

2:20Speaker 3

Yes, I'm sorry.

2:21Speaker 7

I didn't want you to be so affirmative with somebody else controlling that, so...

2:25Speaker 6

But who's developing the plans? You? Is LandSign? No. You're just installing the design?

2:29Speaker 3

Yes, it's JonesSign. Down here in the left-hand corner, that is who's in charge of the drawings.

2:34Speaker 6

Okay, and LandSign is doing what?

2:36Speaker 3

LandSign is going to be doing the installing.

2:38Speaker 6

Okay, all right. Jones is doing the design? Yes. And you'll work with Heritage Landscape Supply to provide all the other plans we require?

2:46Speaker 3

Yes, we will. We are working with both of them, and we will make sure that everything is in compliance with what is requested.

2:49Speaker 7

Just so I understand clearly, what is the timeline for them to submit completed drawings and make the next...

2:54 – 3:07Speaker 6

AT LEAST A WEEK FROM NOW, A WEEK AND A HALF, MAX, ON FRIDAY, FROM THIS FRIDAY, BUT WE'D ASK YOU TO GO BACK, ADDRESS ALL THESE ISSUES, GET US A NEW SET OF PLANS SO THE PLANNING COMMISSION CAN FORMALLY, DOESN'T HAVE TO PUT A LOT OF CONTINGENCIES ON IT.

3:07Speaker 3

YES, I UNDERSTAND.

3:07Speaker 6

THIS BODY IS ONLY GOING TO MAKE A RECOMMENDATION, WHETHER FAVORABLE OR UNFAVORABLE, TO PLANNING THE ZONE COMMISSION.

3:12 – 3:28Speaker 7

I MAKE A MOTION FOR FAVORABLE RECOMMENDATION BASED ON THE APPLICANTS ASSURING THE SALE COMPILES REQUIREMENTS THAT ARE INTENTIONED TO PROVIDE DOCUMENTS THAT PROVE THAT IN SUFFICIENT TIMES CODE, THE MISPLAN IS ONLY MEETING IN TWO WEEKS. A SECOND. A SECOND. WE HAVE A MOTION AND A SECOND. IS THERE FURTHER DISCUSSION? CALL THE ROLL.

3:28Speaker 1

YES. YES. YES. THANK YOU.

3:30Speaker 7

NICE JOB. THANK YOU.

3:35Speaker 4

Our second item is item 2632, ANC Naturals iDesign. Would representatives for ANC Naturals iDesign please stand and prove how you are in compliance.

3:44Speaker 5

Hello, I'm Audrey. I didn't bring any paperwork today. I submitted it all online. I see that one here.

3:49Speaker 7

How did you get your last name? How are you related to the project?

3:55Speaker 5

I own a business. Okay. So I think that the only thing in here that we needed to do was do low-lying shrubs.

4:02Speaker 7

And you also need to get the surveyor out to confirm your location as to whether you might need a variance.

4:06Speaker 7

The location of the sign may be in the right way, and if it is, you'll have to apply for a variance.

4:10Speaker 7

This board cannot grant you a variance. This board can make a favorable recommendation, but basically, the next step is where you would decide whether or not you need to go to zoning appeals or not. Do you follow what I'm getting at?

4:20Speaker 5

I think so, yeah.

4:21Speaker 7

So you would need a survey that located the sign precisely relative to the road right away.

4:24Speaker 5

Okay. Was that the surveyor that you emailed me?

4:28 – 4:47Speaker 2

Probably was, yeah. So the whole thing. So our one of our inspectors measured from your sign to the edge of the sidewalk, which was 74 foot 8. So the right way can be even closer to the sign than the edge of the sidewalk. So it's probably going to be less than 4 foot 8. So I'm just guessing there's going to be a variance of 5 foot minimum in that sign district there. And they need to know what the exact measurement is in order to grant the variance.

4:48Speaker 1

Okay. Okay.

4:50Speaker 7

That becomes the end?

4:53Speaker 7

And I'm sure Tom will be available if you have more questions in this process. And you're going to provide us a little bit more information on some every type of things. And do a little bit more of the four-season look we're looking for in line skating.

5:03Speaker 5

Okay. Yep. And you just need that in the next week?

5:07 – 5:28Speaker 6

I would say, yeah. We've got a week, maximum week in two days. Okay. So, yeah. So, what we need is a set of plans showing that you would buy... WE'RE NOT OPPOSED TO FLOWERS THAT LOOK NICE, BUT IN THE WINTERTIME THERE'S NOTHING THERE. SO WE'LL LOOK FOR SOME LOW-LINE TYPE OR PERENNIALS THAT COULD HAPPEN.

5:29Speaker 7

YEAH, IT WOULD NOT BEAUTIFUL FOR YOUR PROJECT. HOW LONG IS THIS LAND BAN? DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA?

5:33Speaker 5

PROBABLY TWO MONTHS.

5:35Speaker 7

OKAY. THE STONE BASE LOOKS A LITTLE OLDER, IS WHAT I'M ASKING.

5:38Speaker 5

Um, so what was there was a lot of overgrowth when we purchased the property. So we put down new mulch and we planted all those flowers. Um, the stone around it was like existing stone that we cleaned up from the property and made like a outline. Okay.

5:48Speaker 7

So you created that yourself?

5:50Speaker 5

It was there, but we strained it out. Yeah. It was already like a flower bed there.

5:53Speaker 7

You may want to make note of that in your drawing that was there. Yeah.

5:56Speaker 5

The signposts were already there as well.

5:57Speaker 7

You don't want to make note of that very clearly because I didn't get that well into this.

6:01Speaker 7

Yeah, so it's an existing condition. So if anything, a variance may, you may have a position to ask for a variance that you're doing nothing but enhancing the sign that was already there.

6:08Speaker 5

Should I provide, like, before and after photos of, like, the posts that were there? I think that'd be a good idea.

6:12Speaker 7

I think a lot of zoning variance people understand exactly what's going on.

6:17 – 6:34Speaker 7

Okay, I'm going to make a motion for favorable recommendation, providing you comply with the requirements foreseen in the landscaping, provide the additional information from the surveyor, giving us a precise location as to what variants you may be looking for, and giving us some background information as to when you think that base was put in place and assigned those were there, some photographs of that, identify what the existing condition is and what the new condition is.

6:36Speaker 7

Having said that, do we have a motion to have a second? I'll second. We have a motion to have a second. Is there further discussion? Hearing none, indeed, I'll roll.

6:42Speaker 1

Mr. Donovich? Yes. Mr. Blassner? Yes. Mr. Cricket? Yes. Mr. Porco?

6:44Speaker 7

Yes. Ms. Levy? Yes.

6:48 – 7:00Speaker 7

Next on the agenda is unfinished business. You can have mine. Any unfinished business? Hearing none, we'll move on to the next item of adjournment. Motion for adjournment. I make a motion to adjourn.

7:00Speaker 2

All in favor? Aye.

7:02Speaker 7

Anybody opposed? Aye.
