So this is a unique meeting for City Council. This is the one scheduled meeting per year that's opened and at least partly presided over by the Mayor. By charter, it's indicated that way because we don't yet have a President of Council that's part of what's on today's agenda. So what's going to happen is, we're going to have our newly elected council members who are also all either current members or former members sworn in. And then I'm going to ask for nominations for President of Council. We'll get a second. We'll close nominations. We'll vote on that. And then I'm going to pass the gavel to the new President to finish the meeting. So at this time, I know that Judge McKenney and we have some honored guests with us today that I want to introduce.
First of all, from the Barberto Municipal Court is Judge Todd McKenney. From the Court of Common Pleas in Green Resident is Judge Christine Crouchey. And from the Ninth District Court of Appeals in Green Resident is Judge Jill Lanzinger. We're very grateful for our judges being here today. It's unusual that you're here. We're glad you're here. And we appreciate giving your time to swore in our new council members. I know that Judge McKinney has to go first and that because he has another commitment and he was going to swear in our new and old council member Chris Humphrey. So if we could take care of that piece of business first.
