Discuss and take possible action to approve the Semi-Annual payment pursuant to Chapter 380 Grant Agreement by and between Godley EDC and Bloomfield Homes, L.P. in the amount of $8,355.06.
This is the semi-annual payment request in 2025, July-December 2025 pursuant to said agreement, in the amount of $27,944.41. The total incentive due to Bloomfield Homes is $8,355.06 for the period of July-December 2025. Staff recommends approving the payment pursuant to the agreement in the amount of $8,355.06, this was budgeted in the FY2025-26 EDC Budget, which was approved by the City Council as well.
Discuss and take possible action to approve the expenditure of funds for the Marketing of the Founder’s Day Celebration and partnership with 92.1 Hank FM, 95.5 K Hits and 95.9 FM The Ranch on the promotion of the event.
Looking into advertising and promotion of the Founder’s Day Event, we’ve contacted two of the major stations in the area and 92.1 Hank FM, 95.5 K Hits and 95.9 FM the Ranch have proposed the best advertising and promotion of this event. The cost total is $7,800.00, which $3,000 has been covered with sponsorship monies for advertising, leaving $4,800.00. Staff is proposing that the EDC use the funds available in marketing this event in the amount of $4,800.00.
