My son is too little to be part of the school system yet, but that's one of the reasons why we moved here was looking for a better school system than where we came from. So, I just wanted to say thank you so much. Thank you. Happy holiday. Thank you.
Is there anyone else? Seeing n close the second public uh comment period polling of directors. Oh, sorry. Welcome. Okay. Uh happy 2025 at the end of the year. Um it was a year filled with good and not so good, but mostly Gloucester Township shined through the light every day. We have a great police force. we have uh good residents that help each other and that's really important and that refle that reflection it comes from our mayor because whoever sets the stage for the the tempo of the township it's usually our mayor and then followed by council and our police and all the people who work in the school districts. So I want to thank everyone who's worked in this township over this past year. Thank you for your service to our community. Thank you for working and have a wonderful holiday. and may it be filled with lots of joy, love, and laughter.
Mrs. Grace Love, happy holidays to all of our residents and everyone in the room. May you get plenty of rest and I'm looking forward to a new year. But all I'm glad our officers walked in the room because you guys are always working hard and keeping us safe in town. And I know why we're resting and enjoying our family. Sometimes you have to be out there in the cold on calls. So, I want to say a special thank you to the work that you do. I appreciate you so very, very much, but enjoy your holiday and stay warm and enjoy your families and friends, Mr. Nash.
Uh, yeah, happy holidays everyone. Merry Christmas and uh want to give a shout out to the um everyone that worked the Christmas village this past uh two last weekend. Uh all the police department that was there uh public works, it was a awesome event as it always is. Um everyone seemed to have a great time. So um I I want to thank the mayor and his office for putting that together. Also want to thank the mayor and her office for this toy drive. Um looks like it was pretty successful this year. So thanks again and have a great holiday. Mrs. Walters,
I want to thank everybody for coming. Um, ditto off of what Jim had said, um, the Christmas village was a success. Great to see um, residents out there um, and enjoying the weather and the and the um, the Christmas tree lighting and everybody have a safe and wonderful holiday. Enjoy your families. Mr. Castro, I would just personally like to say everyone uh from the mayor, council, PD, fire department, even the residents uh have a happy holiday. Please be careful out there. Stay hydrated, guys out there that are working during the holidays. I've been there with you guys. Stay strong. You got this. We'll make it through and uh looking forward to next year. Happy holidays, Mr. Marcato.
I want to thank everyone for coming out this evening. for those who are watching from home. Uh I I just want to echo what my colleague said regarding the Christmas uh village and the tree lighting. Um that's become another wonderful signature event for our township and I appreciate uh the mayor's office that works hard on that on putting that together with public works and our police department. So thank you very much. January 3rd, uh Saturday, January 3rd at uh 2026 at 10 a.m. will be our reorganization meeting. Uh that reorganization meeting will not take place here but will take place at Harmony Hall in downtown Blackwood. For those who are unfamiliar with Harmony Hall, that is the old bank building on church and the Black Horse Pike across from the old right, which is now a gym called the bunker gym. But uh reorganization will take place there. At reorganization, we reorganized government for Gloucester Township for the new year. Mayor Mayor will be sworn into a new four-year term along with Siri Castro four-year term. Helen Albbright Troxel for a four-year term and Carolyn Grace a four-year term. Uh signups for all our projects are now on the uh township's website. So, from little ones to not so little ones, there's uh we have anyone who wants to participate and volunteer. There are plenty of activities that are available for those that are interested in volunteering that day. That's Monday, January 19th. Uh if you show up 9:00, that's when the program starts and 10:00 is when projects uh will start and they will they should end by 12 o'clock that day. So, you have the rest of the afternoon if you're interested in doing things and taking the day off. So, uh, MLK day. Again, the signups are on the township's website. And with that, I
want to wish everyone, uh, a merry Christmas. Uh, those who celebrate, uh, Quanza, happy Quanza and a happy new year to everybody. With that, I entertain a motion to adjourn. Second. Those in favor? I. Greetings everyone
