City Council - Special Meeting

Thank you for candid. We didn't need you after all. Thank you for doing that. That was on me. These people are going to be really mad they can't get their alcohol license. They might not get it anyway. Still got vote on it. Yes. He's especially saucy tonight. Especially saucy.

Oh, we're gonna go and start our special city council meeting Tuesday, April 28th, 2026 at 5:30 5:42 p.m. And uh if you would, we'll call the meeting to order and we'll start with an invocation. Please, please join me in prayer. Dear heavenly father, Lord, you are the sovereign of all. You control all things and you guide our hearts like the water stream. We ask that um you give a special uh blessing of peace to those in the Middle East and those in conflict. Uh that they would u direct their hearts towards you and Lord know how to act and respond in all ways. We ask that you continue to guide us here in the city. May we be um um looking out for the best interest of the citizens at large. We ask all these things in Jesus name and for his glory. Amen.

We have one item for individual consideration. Discussion, consideration of possible action regarding a special alcohol use permit application for the Puxy Music Festival. Well, what's the date on that, please? That's the 22nd of May. Okay. Uh 22nd, 24th. Well, is there going to be a vendor on the 23rd? We need to go 22nd through the 24th.
