The Gig Harbor City Council approved amendments to the lease and services agreements with the YMCA for the Gig Harbor Sports Complex, allowing the YMCA to use field rental income for operating costs and defining responsibilities for maintenance and operations. The council also proclaimed April as Child Abuse Prevention Month and received an update from the Youth Council on their upcoming mental health summit.
