Okay, on camera, please. Okay. All right. Let's call the meeting to order. Just let the uh just note that the meeting video tape be posted to the city's YouTube account. Uh first item on the agenda is approval of the minutes from the last meeting. Make a motion we approve. Second. All in favor say I. I. Anybody oppose? um building feasibility studies is still working on the site plan that I'm aware of

0:33 – 1:100

under old business items that discuss as well. Um the um continuation of the golf course administrator title for Amy's position. Um we discussed that during session um continue it or plan to continue it as is. Um and we just need to at least at this point get a letter to the mayor. Um okay. um authorizing continuing the current pay rate um that she's getting paid um and to be monitored by the department head of the office. Okay. Sooner rather than later I guess

1:08 – 1:530

ASAP. So make a motion to address. So I made a motion to for the commission to get that letter. Any further discussion hearing? None. All in favor say I. Anybody? Could we just go back to the uh feasibility study? Is there any um date that they're um working on? It's just they're working on it. I guess not feasible once they figure out what we pay for it. So I see. Okay. Thank you. We pay for half of it. We paid for the feasibility study like all of it up front.

1:49 – 2:440

Uh no, they paid bills as a portion work on it. Uh but the site plan uh that's being paid for by the city might as well. U your update. Um I just want to thank everybody who attended and participated and helped out in the 90th celebration on May 2nd. Short and sweet. It was I thought it went off pretty well. Well attended. Um thanks to the mayor for coming over. ripping a te ball down just like we did 9 years ago. Um yeah, so hopefully another one in 10 years at some point I joke around dur you know further down the road start talking about the hundreds and form a committee and see what we want to do around 100. We should all still be around for that.

2:42 – 3:260

We should we will all still be around. Uh as far as uh membership goes, we're about 660 members right now. College is starting to trickle back in. So we'll probably get, you know, x 700 710 members, I'm guessing. Um good amount of juniors that join early this year. So yeah, it's off and running. Well, that's about it. Just I just wanted to say that the pro shop staff look very professional their new um gear and they seem very enthusiastic. We did a uniform day for the ladies on Thursday as well. I'll pick days along the way

3:25 – 4:090

um to to kind of get everybody in the same stuff. But yeah, it was good. I just I have another question. Uh, has there been any uh feedback or comments regarding um the rating of the course? Like have not really I thought I would get more negative feedback about it. I haven't you know the talk is behind closed doors. I haven't I think to me it seems like well this is what it is and this is how it's going to be played. So same for everybody. Not changing for one person versus another. Yeah. Yeah, I thought I thought it would get more negative feedback than I have. So that is positive I guess. Yeah,

4:06 – 4:490

my handicaps going up the tournament anyway for the tournament. It will because the course so you should stay your hands. Exactly. That's a little pain. The comments that are mostly neutral or just questions about it. you know, kind of continue educating people on how to pull through the new numbers um and kind of go on from there. So, is there any um um any ideas about having a meeting with the younger kids and teaching them about some some golf pancakes?

4:47 – 5:210

Yeah. Number nine going around the other day and yeah, it's something problems. Yeah. It was just kind of trying to get them together and you know getting out to them and their parents and you know I have not sent out any reminding us like have the spring yet pretty good with behavior. Yeah, it really it really I think you know. So I was going to go say something but then they moved on. So

5:17 – 6:030

So all right any other questions for Dan? No. Um, knock on wood. Tomorrow morning we're going to go down to the pump house and we're putting we have to inspect the pipe one more time, energize it, fill it up. Um, if it holds, which we're hopeful it does, um, we get to put the giant metal slab that we had to cut off. We put that back in place. That's what the pumps sit on and then they go down into the tight tank. So, if when we put that big metal slab on, we put a tape measure down into the pipe, into the well I should say, and it shows that it's 10 ft, which is the length of the pumps, we can call the pump and say, "Put us on your list. Bring the pumps back out." Oh, okay.

6:00 – 6:590

Lower them back down through, put the roof on, turn everything on, and we start pulling water again. Um, we've had some timely rains, so we haven't really been slamming the city water, which is great budget wise. Um, but hopefully tomorrow morning we have really good news. And like I said, we can call the place where our pumps are being stored at right now. They can bring them out, put them in place, turn them back on, and we go old school and actually get to throw some water. Um, and then start rehabbing areas. See, mix, repeat. Um, we started today actually going through the bunkers. Um, we have a couple of our college kids back, so putting fresh edges on, going after all the stones, adding a bunch more sand. um trying to lone some of the areas where the machine goes in and out all the time and drops the sand, drops the sand. Um if and when we get water turned back on, eventually we can do some saw work around it. So um that's what we got going on right now.

6:57 – 7:340

So the sediment being drawn into the pose an issue anymore? No. No. No. Brand new pipe. Yeah. The old one was crushed in the last decade. I thought the well was So the well we put a brand new plastic sleeve in. Oh, you did? Yeah, the wet well was this big. It was all falling apart. We ripped the roof off and we put a new plastic container based on an entire tank with a bottom on it. So now we just fill up that tank, made it to the pipe, and the old one can fall apart as it wants all around. So it's a permanent fix. Really permanent fix. Yeah, but like I said,

7:34 – 8:000

15 hours is a really good job. Right now we're stopping. itself any questions about. So wouldn't we be looking for a new pump house in 5 years time or we don't know hope not but we'll see get to the celebration. Yes.

8:00 – 9:280

All right. There's no correspondence. Uh commission member comments. Well done to the start of the season animating stuff. So revenue wise we're at 5,000. This week's got another 40. 48 that literally puts us. Um expense wise we're at 785. That includes um some other expenses um with the leases of equipment plus purchases of new equipment. So that's in there. Um and also the u professional fees for the feasibility study. and then the additional fees for the pump house. So those I will be sending a letter to the mayor requesting a transfer of funds to cover those expenses and um I'll probably be doing that the same time I send a letter. So

9:26 – 10:030

we probably have one more decent sized bill coming in for the pump house for the for the plastic portion from you know how much roughly that you um I have the PO for was it 8000 8500 the PO's in place for it so it might actually be deducted when I have a PO in place it pulls it. So if that we should double check it or if you transfer just pat it just transfer more than you think. I'll do like 20 grand and that should cover everything for the bumps at this point. We might want to follow up with Reggie that he paid that we've invoiced the first part of the job.

10:01 – 10:360

I already did the original part. I paid for that one. I have not received the invoice and I emailed him yesterday and he wrote back and said he's on vacation till Wednesday. So now will there be any additional cost for then bringing the pumps back out? Probably. Probably. Probably. Yeah, I can double check with him tomorrow morning. Yeah, just trying to get another ballark. Okay. What company is that? Mar H. Yep. So, we have an opening capital. We have it all set up. It's just going to be whatever they charge for a crane and drop it in, right? I'm ready. [clears throat]

10:35 – 11:110

Uh, the other thing you haven't transferred yet, the indirect cost. I'm sure that's going to happen soon. So there any questions on the financials? None. Motion to motion financials. Second. All in favor say I. I. Opposed. And the next meeting is set for June 1st.

11:08 – 11:290

June 1st. Need a motion to make a motion. All in favor say I.
