City Commission - Regular Meeting

The City Commission approved several ordinances, including amendments to the property maintenance code and a new section for multi-family dwelling numbering. The commission also discussed budget amendments for the current fiscal year and recognized three police officers for their outstanding work. Major John Thompson was appointed as the new Chief of Police, effective August 1, 2026, and the City Attorney announced his retirement.
