Common Council - Special Meeting

I'm going to go ahead and open the common council meeting at 6:35. Please rise for the pledge of allegiance. Okay, I'm going to go ahead and recess the meeting at uh 6:36 and open a public hearing on NHK annexation. So, this is a super voluntary annexation. NHK um out by the interstate the new facility uh signed an agreement with the city of Frankfurt to annex um with their fire contract. So this is just annexing that property into the city of Frankfurt um as agreed. Is there anybody who has any public comments? Okay,

I see none. Okay, with no comments or concerns or questions, I'll go ahead and close the public hearing and reopen the council meeting at 6:37. Um, is that all we have to do then? Yeah. So, if the council wants to, we can adopt the resolution and we can hear the ordinance for the annexation on first reading or if you would prefer, we can do that at the April meeting and then have the second hearing or second reading on the ordinance at the May meeting. Regardless, the second reading will have to be at the May meeting. The first reading can be tonight or we can wait until next meeting. Let's go ahead and do the first reading then. Okay.
