Town Council - Regular Meeting

Good afternoon. I am Connor Ali, contracts and procurement manager here at the town of Fort Myers Beach. I'm with Jason Freeman, deputy town clerk. The time is now 2:15 on May 11th. We're at the town of Fort Myers Beach Town Hall. Oh no. uh council chambers to open bids received for the following solicitation 26-14-PW irrigation and landscaping installation repair and maintenance. This bid was broadcasted April 6, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. and bids were required to be submitted electronically through Demand Star no later than 2 p.m. today local time. Any bids received after the de deadline shall remain unopened. There's one agenda agenda issued for this solicitation and the town reserves the right to wave any informalities to reject any and all bids and make their awards in the best interest of the town of Fort Myers Beach. We received two bids for this solicitation. I will now need I will now read the name of each bid and the amount. First bid was from Mertanis Enterprises LLC in the amount of 463,520. Second bid was from Tidewater Landscape in the amount of 400 or 6 $649,391.50. All bids received will be reviewed for responsiveness and responsibility. The following items are required within 10 business days after the receipt of notice of award or notice of intent to award. A certificate of insurance. The award recommendation is timely scheduled for presentations to town
