My name is Abigail Eberhart, the public information officer. We thank you so much for coming today. In the room with us, we do have our town counselors present. Town counselors, if you could just wave. Yes. Awesome. Great. And obviously we have our mayor, our town manager, our deputy town manager, and all of our directors here to hopefully answer your very pressing questions. But before we do the hard stuff, we're fun stuff. So we're actually going to play a game and our deputy town manager here is going to kick it off. Dr. Kohler.
Thank you, Abigail. I guess you can't take that educator out out of me after all. Um, so like Abby said before we get into the uh questions, I thought we could game. It's like a trivia game about the town and we have prizes. Prizes are up there on the day as you can see. Um, so, wow, that was weird. Um, if you could bring up your phones if you want to participate and just open up a web browser. So, it could be your Safari, your Chrome, your Google, however you want to do it. And you just simply type in cahoot.it. And it's on your handout as well. cahoot.it. it and eventually you'll get to a screen that says game pin and then you just hold. Okay, if you have any questions or need any help, just raise your hand. We have some folks who will walk around and help you get to cahoot.it and get you ready. I know we have some competitive people here.
No. [laughter] Yes. So, I mentioned the prizes in the back, but maybe I should talk about those prizes to get you like excited. So, the first prize is a gift basket. It has the 30th anniversary t-shirt in it [snorts] with some other goodies, water bottle, um, koozie, etc. And then the second prize basket, look at my beautiful Vanna's. The second prize basket does not have the 30th anniversary t-shirt, but has all the other goodies. So, thank you to HR, to Lisa, and Shelby for helping craft those. And then our third place winner gets the water bottle and a sticker and a kind of a fanny pack type. There we go. That's our third pir. All right, Eric, do you want to switch it back over to the game? We're going to start very soon. Does anybody need any last minute help to get to Cahoot?
We're going to give you the pin in just a minute. Yeah. Anybody else need help getting to cahoot.it?
All right, Eric, you can bring it on up whenever you're ready. All right, there's your game pin. Your game pin is the 345364. And again, it's on the screens around the room. You will have to enter a nickname for yourself. You don't have to put in your official name if you don't want to, but a nickname if you as long as you remember what your nickname is because if you win, you want to be able to claim your prize.
Does it have to be PC? Oh, yes. Thank you. Thank you, mayor. Please make sure it's something that can be, you know, appropriate. [snorts]
Thank you. The teacher and me. All right, Eric. I think we can go ahead and get ready to start. All right, you can look at your phones. You'll be able to see what's on the screen on your phones. It's they get tricky and then they get easy, then they get tricky and then they get easy kind of. All right, we'll just let it sit there for a minute. All right, a lot of people got the correct answer. We have 18, which is uh the professional management of daily operations separate from policym. All right, let's hit next. Who is responsible for implementing Did we just do this one? Okay, who is respons I've looked at these questions all day long. Who is responsible for
implementing town council policy and overseeing daily operations? All right, we can hit next,
