from the board for the mayor to sign a letter to the St. Louis County Auditor in support of an audit related to St. Louis County sales tax distribution. All right. So. As I had stated, St. Louis County, one of our St. Louis County counselors has informed the city that there may be some discrepancies in the payout that the city received. In doing so, I think we received an additional $200,000. It's a little, isn't it 200, about 200,000 or something to that nature. So... What we're attempting to do is get to the bottom of what we're actually doing, how the system is calculated and so forth. So the Municipal League on behalf of the 84 member municipalities has requested that the Missouri State Auditor conduct an audit of St. Louis County's administration and distribution of certain taxes. So if anybody has any questions, don't know if I can answer, yes sir.

So, you know, I think in years past, it's always been difficult for us to understand the percentage, the formula, how that comes up. It would be nice for the city to understand the payout that it gets, understand that that's actually correct or not. Because right now we just take St. Louis County's word that what we're getting is correct because we can't back it up.

Since 1995, 96, we have actually hired, the city of Fenton has actually hired accountants to try to do just that and everybody throws their hands up. We still, to this day, don't know how they calculate that or whether it's right or wrong. So here's another attempt at getting it right or at least looking into it. So we all know the fate of St. Louis County right now. They're $50 million in debt, you know,
