maybe three. I don't know. I have a look. You I said I clicked the notification. I think since they're outside of the organization, it's it's one of those things that you have to admit the minute so you don't have randoms that Yeah. You've got Yeah. Just two fake. Well, well, we can look at it. I mean, it's it's not It has a thing that says just let anybody who's invited in, but use teams. I wish I didn't. I use it all the time. Let me in. No, I let you in. Oh, did you? Yeah,
he thought about it. Good thought. But
I think it's a feature, not a buck. But yeah, well, I know. Yeah, but yeah, there should be a way. If not, whoever it is, Cheney, I think they're the administrator. They pretty much said Microsoft's got these things screwed down so tight. They do that that of that the administrators you can steal anybody's anybody's identity in other places in Microsoft but in teams is really tight.
Yeah. I mean I I know work if I have something up and I need to take a screenshot it won't let me take a screenshot. I can't screenshot on my phone. Nope. It's just a black screen. It does. And it says your organization doesn't allow screenshots. Oh, because you guys have Yes, it does. You have work phones? No. No. That's if Oh, if you try to screenshot like a when you're on Teams or or or anything? Yeah. Really? Yeah. They they have it locked down. Weird. I have to Are you at the point where you have to authenticate every like 20 minutes now? Oh, god. Yes. Well, they could actually made it easier for me. So, on my actual laptop, they have a pin
and it's tied to the laptop itself. You take that tomorrow. When I'm Yep. When I'm at Perfect. Thank you. the office, it's not a problem. But at home, you know, as soon as I log in, it logs me out. And if I want to Yes. anything else. Yeah. You go, "Well, we're going to do this again." Oh, I told them when they can buy me a new phone for as much battery time as I use just doing authenticator. I hate that workshop. I did too. I don't know if you can get a hard token. Technically, I think we have three minutes, Dave. They're a little You're good.
The ones on the phone are a soft token, but there used to be a hard token. You'd have to go and do your little RSA thing out. You enter in the pin off of that. Push your pin. Okay. That hard. never had a token. Yeah. You know, but we use multiffactor on everything. That was Oh, weird weird enough. It was Morgan Stanley when we'd have to go into their systems. I don't work for them, but they sent us tokens for them and that's what we had to use. Yeah. I think Ann had tokens that when she had to get into things when she was at the bank.
Yeah. And that makes sense. I mean, it's very it's secure or as secure as it can be.
Dave joining up. There he is. Okay.

Anybody have any questions for chief? Other than congratulations on graduating from the staff command school. Well, and that and I'd also like to commend Jeremiah for um the K9 Academy. I've met the dog. It is seemed they seem to bond really well. This might be a little different experience than you guys were used to.
Sounds like my dog on the wood floors.
Carpet will be better. Hi, baby. She's wound up today. She's wound up a little bit. This is uh K9 Pandora. And Jeremiah, you missed I commend you and for your graduation and the work you've done thus far. Thank you. Dog was good. What a pretty dog. He's such a pretty little hyper today. JT, you want one or you get one? I'll get one.

That'll carry. Um I do not have any old business. However, I do have some new business. Uh, first order of new business, we need to go to exec session under five 120/26. Keep written minutes and a verbatim recording audio or video of all closed sessions. Keep these minutes confidential until the public body votes to release them. conduct a and conduct a semianual review of all close session media minutes to determine whether they should remain confidential or can be made public. I would take a motion to enter exec session.

Um, make a motion that we keep the minutes sealed. Do I have a second? Second. Second from Nate. That's a roll call, please. Gillis, yes. Bogs, yes. Smith, yes. Fleming, yes. Rose, yes. Cruzen, yes.
All right. Thank you. Uh, next item I have is an update on summer unplugged. um been talking to Shelby. As of this writing, we have 58 participants with a 6040 split on full day, half day. Um have secured $2,000 in donations. Um and she's figuring with the tuition that she is $15,000 in. So, we're really close to getting to the halfway point of the funding where this is not going to cost any more than Wreck did. Um, also I want everybody to think about getting a table for trivia on May 30th. Fundraiser at the Moose. Um, there's going to be trash can, nachos, there's going to be all kinds of things. Um, there's a flyer on our website. There's also Facebook. Um, if you have any questions, please call the city office 309-2452011. All right, that's that. Um, I also have an update on electrical aggregation. Um, in 2014, the city of Farmington had a referendum on the ballot for the citiz citizens of Farmington if we wanted to participate in aggregation. This at that time that vote was overwhelmingly yes. So, we entered into an agreement with CMAC, which is a electrical purchasing company based out of Quincy, Illinois. Um, and Regge called me this week. Uh, or it was last week, we went they went to bid. Um, they were able to secure a rate of 11.89 cents per kilowatt. That is guaranteed for 11 months. Um, that only applies to the electricity. Amaran still takes care of
the distribution pieces. I don't know what Amaran's rates going to look like right now. Um, currently it's like point or it's 8.4, but it's going to raise they they're haven't announced their summer rates yet, but this is always an opt out program. So the cards will be coming around to the citizens and everybody that you are going to be opted into this program and based upon what these rates are it might be good. Um, last year in October, Reg got a hold of me and said that Amarind had dropped their rates significantly and he suggested that everybody opt out and we explained how to do that as well. And you can have opt out at any time, but I just want there's always big questions about why is the city changing my supplier and that's how we got here. Oh. Um, next item I have is a discussion possible action um intergovernmental agreement with the mayors of Fulton County. Um, over the last couple of mayor's meetings, which meet every three months, there was a big discussion about whether all of the municipalities within Fulton County would recognize each other's UTV golf cart stickers, which meant that we could move throughout the county without having we can go to Canton without having to get a Canton sticker. We we can go throughout the county and there was overwhelming support for this. Um, we're also going to work on some uh like a map and maybe some sort of advertising that'll get you a percent off at local restaurants and things throughout the county as we're making these travels. But I would like a motion to enter into this intergovernmental agreement that
allows the entire county to recognize each other's UTV golf cart stickers. Make a motion to enter into the intergovernmental agreement. Second. Thank you, Alex. That's a second by Jenny. Let's do a roll call just because. Gillis, yes. Bogs, yes. Smith, yes. Fleming, yes. Rose, yes. Cruzen, yes.
All right. Next item I have is another update. Guess I was big on updates this week. Um, as everybody can see, the demolition is pretty much concluded. There's some uh pads and things that they're breaking up. I know they plugged the sewer today to make sure that we don't fill the sewer with muk and um that's best way I can describe it. But I think they started dumping sand and CA6 today. I haven't looked out there yet, but I'm hoping that they may be done by the end of the week. And then we met Friday with Mau Stuts and a architectural firm that Mau Stuts brought on and a structural guy about how to button up these sides and they are going to come back to us with some recommendations on the best way. The firewall will just take some block work. We will have to replace a door, but Tony says he's already got one. Um, this side is a little different. We weren't, if everybody's looked out here, there's what appears to be 4 inch field tile, square field tile, and we were expecting maybe several layers of brick and maybe block wasn't there. So, the structural guys are making some recommendations on the best way to to connect and what would be the best finish on that. So, questions. All right. Just trying to keep everybody apprised. Um, next item I have discussion possible action on um accepting the sealed bids we reply we receive on our surplus items that we have um had advertised over the last four weeks. I opened the bids at 5:00 pm tonight. Um, I've given everybody a spreadsheet
here, um, showing, but on the 2000 Mercedes, John Persaw was the high bidder at $265. The 2016 Police Interceptor went to a gentleman out of Staten Island. He's actually the winner on all three of the the Explorer Police Interceptors. the 2016 for $1,237, the 2015 for $689, and the 2013 for $685. Uh the 2001 Chevy 210 truck to John Paraw for $3,392. Um there was no bid on the 1997 Chevy service truck. Um, the 1997 F350 dump truck is Luke Bologna for $2,500. The tank mowers went to John Paraw for $590. The CubCadet 7000 tractor went to Mike Hardesty at Napa for $1,500. The Woods mower went to John Paraw for $610. The Honda 10 horse mower is John Facella for $2763. The electric man lift went to John Parell for $360. The Echo Parts chainsaw to Nate Fleming for a dollar and a rigid pipe threader went to Philip Bisala for $43.33. I know we didn't get a lot of money for some of that stuff, but it's it's
what it is. It is what it is. Make a motion that we accept the bids. Thank you, Alex. Second. Second by Jenny. That's a roll call, please. Gillis, yes. Bogs, yes. Smith, yes. Fleming, yes. Rose, yes. Cruising, yes. Is this all going in the general fund then? Well, the the PD co PD portion will go to the PD, but the rest will go to the general fund. Okay.
And I will find some time to alert these people. Uh, last item I have for new business discussion, possible action. Um, part of the budget priority processing. um public works and I worked on some things that they would like to have and I think the biggest thing we could do right now is he would like to have a couple of um carports. Uh one being big enough to put our bucket truck under. And the main reason being is so it doesn't just sit and bake in the sun, the the dash, the seats, the plastic, the hydraulic hoses. Um, and he'd like to have a smaller one to put all of our snow plows in. Number one, it'll free up a lot of room in the in the shed, and this allows them to also be out of the the sun and stuff, and it's just going to be good for it in the long run. You know, this is a total of $9,172 round numbers for these two um car ports that he has priced at Menard's.
I assume they're going out here. They'll go at the public works garage. Not going out here. No. And we have plenty of room out there. And what this is is going to clean up our area as well. Make a motion to put 9,500 towards the carports. Thank you. Alex purchases building. I have a second. Second. A second by Nate. That's a roll call, please. Gillis, yes. Bogs, yes. Smith, yes. Fleming, yes. Rose, yes. Cruzen,
yes. All right, that is all of new business leads me to finance reports. Jenny, do you have anything this evening? I do not. Thank you. Thank you. Um Joey, anything officially or additionally for public safety? Mr. Mayor, thank you. Nate on sewer. Just so everybody knows though for sewer wise, we did find a sewer problem on Apple Street. We are dropping a new manhole and straightening out the run which ought to solve some of the sewer issues down there. So if anybody sees any work on Apple Street going in, they only have to tear up a little piece. They don't because that's one of our newer roads.
I was informed about a sewer issue on West Court Street. I don't know if they called the city building or not. I don't know, but they know a lot more than I know. So I'll I'll ask that leads you street sidewalks garbage. Your name's Alex. I think it is Alex. Bulk item pickup. We have it this week. Be sure to get it out in regular whatever your garbage day is. Have it on the curb. It's curbside pickup. Keep it away from your garbage can so that the truck can have room to pick it up. Also, please adhere to the guidelines that we put out.
They will not pick up items that cuz I've already seen a Christmas tree out. A real Christmas tree. TVs. I've already seen TV out. Yep. We will not pick up any of that. All right. Anything else, Alex? No, that's everything. Thank you, Leslie. Parks are wreck. I have nothing for Thank you. Dave, you have anything to add on public grounds and buildings? Nothing to report. Thank you, Dave. It's May. anything on the house on the court. And so I I I called the guy on on
Well, so I think they met today. From what I'm understanding, those people told me that we would have something on the 26th. Oh, okay. I thought you were talking about East Street, East and Pearl, and I'm working through that. So, anybody else? Jeff, were we right on budget with the demolition or a little closer? Haven't even seen bills yet. I I have couldn't begin to tell you. So, Oscar will tell us at some point. Going once, going twice. Motion to second.
A motion and a second to adjurnn. All in favor say I. Opposed. Thank you. Thanks, Phil.
