2:07 – 2:250

And I can actually do that without wanting to I spent so many hours. We built a threestory condominium dealring everything out just enough.

2:28 – 3:120

We won. We were actually at one point we had the reporters up on the third floor 30 people which I can't even believe at that like how that even but um we won the whole thing. I know that took three girls to Florida with them on vacation and left and sent me pictures the whole time. Goodness the reunion they had out there.

3:08 – 3:500

Oh yeah, it's way off. power and I'm sure they had all the power. You see the big stain down so many pieces of woodrant go out there and sort all that out still. Right. Figure it all out. You tools everywhere. Oh, they did warranty replacement though. Hey, even better. I like it. We still got labor involved.

3:49 – 4:100

Yeah. I mean, you have to pay the guy. Better eye with a stick. So, well, that's the way it usually is. As long as the parts I mean the parts are there, but you have to paid. You only get usually get a year of labor after that. You didn't get the You know what? Your warranty was good till yesterday.

4:14 – 4:560

Hopefully they're I always love that. Well, if you have called last week, you would never quarantine anymore of making at home. I've got a spiral full of we came to buying their house where they grew up in. The downside to it was the the raptors were made of the original like I don't know if it was early 1900s or whatever, but it was just like a it wasn't a 2x4 or a six. It was just a wedge.

4:54 – 5:380

Yeah. I was doing I was going to have to start from scratch and put us all the first time. We're trying. Oh, I know. Believe me, I know. I had this morning before school was in a mood. She did not want to be at school. Wanted to want to go to school.

5:37 – 6:200

My granddaughter. So we had a little kind of Jesus moment before she went. So I walked her over to the gym and I said, "I love you. Have a good day." And she goes, "I will not. They'll have the day you have then. Bye. She's in first grade, seven. She wanted me to uh she texted me last night. She wanted tell her dad not to send her to school and said that he had to that I was supposed to ground it. Then her next thing was telling my my teacher's on vacation because that works.

6:16 – 6:590

Because that works. Yeah. All right. I got six. like to call the meeting to order. We will start with the pledge. I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. Thank you. Welcome. Welcome everybody at home. Can we have a roll call, please? Gillis here. Bogs here. Smith. Fleming here. Rose here. Cruising.

6:57 – 7:420

Thank you. Um, everybody's had a chance to read the minutes from 11926. This time I'll take questions, comments, concerns, or a motion. Make a motion that approve the minutes. Second. Thank you, Alex. That's a second by Dave. All in favor say I. I. Opposed. That would carry. I do not have any correspondence this evening. Which excuse me, which leads me to bills. We pay our bills and there is also a balance of accounts. Like to make the motion that we pay our bills. Second that. Thanks Joey for the motion. Alex is the second. That's going to be a roll call, please. Gillis, yes. Hogs,

7:410

yes. Fleming, yes. Rose, yes.

7:45 – 8:350

Thank you. leads me to you, chief. The police department report ordinance works continuing. I got a couple things I'm going to try to address uh this month. One of them is the fence over Dollar General falling down again. They got it fixed last time pretty quick. Once I figure out who actually send letters to try to get it done here relatively soon again. Uh the new police vehicle was picked up and should be ready by the end of the month to go on the road. It's going to get stripped out and equipment installed. Uh Dr. STE and Officer Rice once again be coaching the track or the farm to track shooting team at the school. And Officer Rice is now state certified trainer for the department. There's three of us currently that can train our own officers so we don't have to go anywhere for some of the trainings.

8:33 – 8:500

Make a motion that we approve the monthly police report. Second. A motion from Joey and a second from Dave to approve the Farmington Police Department monthly report for January of 2026. All in favor say I. I.

8:48 – 9:380

Opposed? That carries. All right. Uh we do not have any old business. Um I have a little bit of new business. First item is I have um discussion possible action. A CEDC recommendation. This is a bounceback. Needs to be reapproved because it crossed a fiscal year. This is smashing assets. They have a um residence on by you, Alex. Um East Vernon. It's it's Ashlin Capus. Um, they had a tree removed and a fence repair that finally got completed due to some contractors. I'd like to make a mo motion that we approve the CDC recommendation.

9:37 – 9:520

I second that. Thank you, Joey. Second by Alex. That's a roll call, please. Gillis, yes. Bogs, yes. Fleming, yes. Rose, yes.

9:49 – 10:340

All right. Next item I have, um, I actually have two items here that are both for the community center. But first one, um, in conjunction with putting air conditioning in, we got to get some more power. So, um, Roy Keith Electric gave us a bid of $4,410 to, um, get us more power to run the air conditioners on top of the building. And this tube would come from TIFF. Is that going to also separate the electricity from this building? Okay. All building is run off of this building. All electricity is run off of this building.

10:32 – 11:160

Yeah. The solar goes to these panels then feed that. And this how how is that going to work when we demo the middle here? We already went around. We went around it. We already went underground. You'll see the the front yard there. It's all done. Perfect. That's what I wanted to make sure it wasn't we need to go and put a new leather head or something up. No, no, they they went underground. Okay. Um I make a motion that we approve $4,410. Second. Thank you, Alex. A second by Nate. That's a roll call, please. Gillis, yes. Bogs, yes. Fleming, yes. Rose,

11:13 – 11:270

yes. And Dave, do you want to talk about this next one? The next it's a discussion possible action fans for the community center.

11:24 – 12:090

So we have three fans more towards the would be the east side. They're going to add three more fans to the west side. Um the temperature at the elevation because the heat rises is actually almost 90 degrees. And we had a heck of a time keeping that thing warm because everything was up up. So they made a decision the best thing we should do is add three more. So we'll have six fans pushing that back down. It will help us tremendously on the actual heating and cooling for future. What does our what's our HVAC contractor think? Do they agree with this? They agree wholeheartedly. The less the more the more heat that we can push down,

12:07 – 12:460

the better we're doing. They're also putting um boosters in the vents. Um and they're segmenting the gym into three different zones. Three zones with three thermostats. The original thermostat was put in the foyer. I don't know if you knew that or not. It's a good place for it. Great place for it. She closed the doors and it had no idea what the temperature over here was. Don't know how that happened. Yeah, but this is a 4,295 and it's tiff eligible expense as well tying this all the HBAC together.

12:44 – 13:260

Okay. Yeah, I I think we make make a motion to approve the 4,295 to get those fans put in. I have a motion from Alex, second from Joey. That's a roll call. Gillis, yes. Bogs, yes. Fleming, yes. Rose. Yes. All right. That is all the new business I have this evening. Belrums of January behind us. Um leads me to committee reports. Jenny's not here tonight. Leslie is not here tonight. Um Alex, do you have anything sidewalks, streets, garbage related? Nothing to report.

13:24 – 14:050

Thank you. Dave Rose, anything public grounds related? Well, we did actually have a meeting with all the contractors um two weeks ago in reference to the junior high demo. So, um we putting all those bids together. We'll have an opening of that and then we'll be able to bring back an estimate to this group at some point real soon that'll give you a total cost of what the demolition of the junior high will cost us. So, that's that's in the works. Nate, you have anything sewer related this evening? Not tonight, sir. Thank you. Joey, anything further? Public safety. That's a report. Mr. Mayor,

14:010

Jim, Dave, Jeff, JT, I'm just saying I know everybody's name.
