Yeah, I can tell you that that's that's our on the lodging board. That's who we contract with to do all of the marketing for Evanston. It should be a monthly bill. Sometimes we miss a month and now it's 2 months.

I was just curious, because of the amount, I didn't know who EXO's stream was. Thank you.

It's on there about every month. It wouldn't be bad to have a presentation to show us what all they do at some point, though. I think it's been brought up before.

Just a couple things. Um. So, I was told right before I came in that rocky young is is very ill. and not expected to make it past this evening. But I just bring that up because Rocky was so instrumental and taught at BOCES for so long and really impacted a lot of people's lives and will be very missed. He was very adopted special needs kids and took on a lot of responsibility that I think, wow. And then the second thing I have is If you haven't noticed, it's a little smoky outside. So be mindful of people who have Asthma, if you need to stay inside, do so. Take care of yourselves because that smoke will get to you. And then mindful of your neighbors if you're doing closed-pit fires or whatever, which direction that smoke goes because between the two it can be really hard on some of the people who have respiratory problems.

Mr. Welling. I'd just like to thank those that participated in our Evanston High School Hall of Fame golf tournament. I think everyone had a good, it was hot, but everyone had a pretty good time and no one won the brand new 2025 pickup. They couldn't hit even on the green, some of them. But we appreciate all the support for that. And I think that's, oh, there's a little vandalism down at the Down at the ponds, somebody had ruined the table and made bike ramps out of the picnic table that kind of got my flare up. So it was reported. I'm sure it'll be on Facebook, kids jumping in the ponds with their bikes. But other than that, you know. Everything's good? Okay. Thank you.

I went to the racetrack, I went to Farmer's Market, played in the Hall of Fame tournament. It was a busy weekend, fun weekend. So there's plenty of stuff to do. Get out there and check it out. And next weekend, next few weekends are going to be the same. So support your local community and all the things that we're trying to put on.

Nice. You know, I just, and I'm glad he's here. I want to recognize Cooper Curry, Evanston, and who won the gold medal in 100 meters and silver in 200 meters and the shot put at the Special Olympics USA in Minneapolis. I just wanted to congratulate him and his family.

Well, I'll just say amen to all of that and we will move on. We don't have any special public hearings, but we do have a special order. You mentioned you've got to give us a good segue, Mr. Smith, into Cooper Curry's achievements and events. Cooper, would you come up here and tell us what you've done? You're fine So at the games I Participated in the hundred meter 200 meter in the shot put I Got first in the hundred meter and second in both the 200 and the shot put and And I brought the medals with me. Cool. Hopefully. Yep. If I could.

Well, I was at the games. Well, every state got a set of 100 pins for their state, and everybody went around and traded pins. So I got... pins here as well from every state and the District of Columbia. So, I was planning on getting two of each, but that didn't happen. I got two of some. Some states had different pins. Let's see.

Yeah, pass these around as well. That's an accomplishment all in itself. Wow. Very nice. Vegas was easy to spot. That's impressive, Cooper.

Georgia was the hardest pin to get. What's that? Georgia was the hardest pin to get. Georgia was? I believe it's the peach one at the very bottom.

Oh, right here. I see it. I'm not going to get my glasses, but yeah, I can see that. Why was that the hardest, do you think?

Because I got it on closing ceremonies. Oh. And every time I asked a person from Georgia if they had a pen to trade, they were like, sorry, I ran out. I'm like, dude, come on. You're my last one.

That is super cool.

And the second hardest one to get was the Hawaii one. Hawaii? Most of them didn't bring their pins. Oh. Like, when we were having lunch one of the days, I don't know when, but I went up to them, and they're like, we don't bring pins to lunch with us. Oh. I'm like, that's okay, but... Let's get it.

Next time, bring some pins. Yeah.

Did you have to arm wrestle one of them for one?

No. On closing ceremonies, there was a little trading thing where we can trade anything. So I got one of my neon... Wyoming shirts. Okay. Um, I traded that for our team, Oregon shirt. Oh, cool. It's like this, but team Oregon. Um, uh, opening ceremonies was really fun. Um, let's see. Um, what's that one singer's name? It was, um,

Yeah, it was pretty fun to watch them play. Yeah. And they had these, like, big cheese curds. I'm like, oh, my gosh, these are the biggest ones I've seen. Fun.

When I was doing my 100 meter, I won, so I was just this close away. It was like a close match for the 100 meter. I think I was just this ahead in front of the other guy.

This is currently before the Council on second reading. There have been no changes from first reading.

I really don't have much to say about these. These are yearly contracts that we do with these organizations. Same amounts, the amounts were approved in the budget. So these are just contracts to put them in place.

Not a whole lot to add. It is the 90th year, I believe, for Cowboy Days, so that's a big... That's cool. That's a big accomplishment. Yeah, it is. And it's a PRCA rodeo, which is important to some people, so it's a good event.

So this board is one that the county and the city both contribute funds to. And then organizations come to the board and they'll present to us what they... the reason why they need funds. The organizations that the Human Services Board provides funds to is SAFE, the BOCES Boost Program, LSR, the Youth Club, Yaha, Disability and UN Accounting, ECDC, And I'm not sure that UNA County Community Services, it's a newer organization. I think that's the name of it, but it sounds like they're very good. They do a very good job at helping people out. And the Senior Center.

I was trying to remember today when Rodeo Series started. It's got to be 25, 30 years ago.

We got a few years back, we got a plaque for the number of years that the city had been a sponsor. And I want to say... It was 20 or 25? 20 or 25, yeah. And I'll bet that's been six or eight years, maybe 10 years ago. So it's probably, I wouldn't be surprised by what it's in excess of 30 years.
