Thank you. Um, so with that said, she the girl had no legal interest. She didn't have a signed lease. She didn't have a signed articles of agreement. So, Bill Bucheri, who is Palmer Realy, would be the only one. And I asked him if he was going to come today and testify, and he said no. That's the same story I have received that there was no agreement of sale that was um signed by both parties pending a zoning hearing board appeal. So So in other words, there's nobody here to make any presentation on behalf of the variance. No, I have not checked anybody in for this variance. Okay.

8:02 – 8:420

Who was that that just spoke? Uh I'm sorry, the solicitor Arthur Martineucci. It's m a r t i n u cc. Okay. Thank you. So with that said, um you would take a vote to uh either sustain or to either grant or reject the variance since it's on the agenda for today. Somebody want to make a motion? Motion to reject. Motion to reject. Ed Dawson. Second. Second. Do we need to hear any anybody else or no? Anybody? Do you need

If there's If there's anybody If there's anybody in the public that that wants to be heard on this particular variance, you got to let them handle that. You should handle that. You You want to be heard? You'll need to be sworn in by the stenographer. Sarah, do you swear or affirm the testimony you will give will be the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. 9:23 – 11:210

Paul Gamble, 2303 Holland Street, Erie, PA1. I'm here on behalf of the residents. Uh first off, I represent the neighborhood watch group in that area for the appellant that is uh uh for 1823 German Street. And I'm speaking on behalf of Central City Neighborhood Watch Group in that area. our area of operation is 16th to 26 stayed over to parade and also on behalf of any of the residents that lived in the Sarapin area who had to put up with uh Warsaw and some other illegal antisocial activity from a club on 22nd and Reed where it's taken a few years. It took a few years to get rid of them. Uh we are in totally opposition and I would hope you would reject this appellant's request. It's a residential neighborhood. As you know, there's a family unit, multif family units on 19th in German. Senior citizen building on uh southwest corner of 18th in German. Housing authority scattered site units on 18th Street. Housing Authority, uh, public housing, multiple family units on 17th down to 16 from German over to parade. as you know those type u of after hours joints as I call them after hours places and uh have not been successful more problems than anything and it's just not worth it to the residents in that area who are trying to live a quiet peaceful life and we would hope you would reject their appeal. Thank you.

Thank you. Thank you sir. Anybody else to speak in favor or opposition to this? I'll call for a vote. Oh, you got one more challenge. Nope. Name and address, please. Hi, David Filson, 218 East 23rd Street. You let the court reporter swear you in.

12:02 – 13:200

Yes, I do. I I'm also with uh the neighborhood watch for that area. I've lived there for 18 years. Prior to that, I lived in Pittsburgh and I lived quite close to an after hours club on the other side of the park. The troubles mounted weekly. Police everywhere at all hours disturbing the public and it's just something that it's not needed. We really don't need that especially in that area where we've had troubles before. It's going to spill over into the neighborhood. We've done a lot in that neighborhood to try and revamp it. Uh 15 years ago, 18 years ago, excuse me. Uh we all got grants to move into and build new homes there. Mine is one of those new homes. I don't want to see my property value decrease because of something that's going to be a nuisance, just like Paul said. And it is a nuisance. Uh there's a lot of underage that uh they let in. That's no secret and we just don't need that there. We we reject it wholly. Thank you.

13:17 – 13:570

Thank you. Anybody else to speak in favor? Opposition of it. I'll call for a vote. You want to make a motion. Gentlemen, there's been a motion made and seconded. To deny. Okay, you ready? Okay. Mr. Seabolt, yes. Deny. Uh, Mr. Dawson, deny. Miss Gunen, also deny. And Mr. Johnson, deny. Thank you. Thank you.

13:54 – 14:370

Four to zero. Um, motion to reject the appeal. I apologize for going out of order. Okay. Thank you, gentlemen. We have any unfinished business today? Uh, none, sir. Any new business? None. You say yes. None. I'm sorry. Okay. Motion to adjurnn. I had a question. When when do we do elections? Elections are usually in January. Okay. Thank you.

14:38 – 15:090

Motion to adjourn. Yep. So moved. Miss Gin, seconded by Mr. Johnson. Thank you. Thank you. Who asked that about elections? Mr. Dawson asked about elections. Ed Dawson. Thank you. And if you missed any of those other names, spellings, please let me know. I have everything written down for you. Thank you very much. You're welcome.
