RESOLUTIONS•Item 2026-06-02 (a)
Act on resolution to recommend to amend Appendices B and B-1 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Elmira by Amending Section 110 of Appendix B by adding the definitions of “Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU)”, “Accessory Dwelling Unit Attached” and “Accessory Dwelling Unit Detached”; to amend Appendix B, Section 260 (Use Table) by permitting Accessory Dwelling Units (attached or detached) under “Residential” and “Commercial” uses; and to amend Article VII of Appendix B-1 by adding additional supplemental regulations pertaining to Accessory Dwelling Units.
