Hello, I'm Peter Zenoni, city manager for the city of Corpus Christi, representing Corpus Christie water. Over the next several weeks, I'll be meeting with leaders across the coastal bend to share the information on our regional water supply as well as planning efforts and scenarios developed by Corpus Christie Water. Water is a regional issue and it is crucial for our neighboring communities to have the most up-to-date information as we continue to plan for the ongoing drought and advance new water supply project. This initiative will involve visits, briefings, and presentations with regional leaders, city managers, and administrators. Today, I'm here in Portland, Texas with city managers and administrators from Newasis, Aranis, and San Patricio County to discuss our current water outlook and the steps we are taking to strengthen our system. Additionally, tonight I will join city staff from Corpus Christie Water and share updates with the city of Aranzis Pass. These conversations are vital and many communities across the coastal ben rely on the same water resources. Ensuring everyone has access to the same information will help us plan responsibly and work together as a region. Alongside these meetings, I will also be providing weekly video updates to keep you informed about the latest water supply conditions and the progress we are making on projects aimed at diversifying and strengthening our system. Our goal is to keep the community informed while we continue advancing groundwater development, improving water infrastructure, and implementing other projects designed to ensure long-term water reliability for the communities we serve.
