Namaskar friends. My name is Cecilia Roscoe and I am the Director of Transportation. Thank you all for coming here today. This is the sixth universal input line in the seven series. So we have one last line. So tonight's topic is that first of all, we will listen to our assistant city administrator Soni Parnell. After that, we will listen to our budget leader Amy Rodriguez. After that, you will see a short video and then we will go to the part where you can ask your questions on the microphone. As you know, I am very happy to be here. This is one of my favorite places in Corpus Christi. I love this park very much, and all the things that have happened here, all the improvements that we have made in this community, all the missions that have been done in this community, It is a very big asset for the city. I want to thank the workers of the present city and tonight I am supporting them. And I think that after seeing this presentation, meeting the workers and asking them about their departments is important. We are going to talk to them about the roads that we talked about earlier. I will make sure to mention them. And it really feels good to be here.

For me, this is the north-western region, even though my region is big, this is my home.

That is why I am very happy to come here and support each and every one of you. You know, there is a lot going on in the city right now. Our plate is full. We are fortunate that we are getting water, because this has reduced the stress on many aspects of the work we are doing. But we cannot stop. I think that we have learned a lesson when we get water. So we have to ensure that we have a source of water for the people of Corpus Christi. That is why it is important. And we have to ensure that to go out and work on all those important things and balance it, which are important things like roads, ensuring environmental protection of our authorities and supporting our fire department. I think it is very important. That is why I am excited. This may be one of the last environmental issues in which I will be involved.

As you know, many of you know that I have again decided to take the election.

Greetings to everyone. Before we begin, let's give a round of applause for Councilman Ever Roy. He was a great politician for the city, so we thank you for your service. Also, once again, thank you to Councilman Hernandez for coming here. And our judge Lisa Gonzalez is also here. Thank you for coming here. Again, my name is Soni Peranil. I am an assistant municipal administrator here. I would like to welcome all of you from the municipal administration, municipal administration office, and the entire organization. So, we are in our ninth input line here and this is our ninth and before the budget was presented by the municipal administrator, we had three and next week we have one more. So, I am happy to tell you that during this whole process, we have a complete budget. And along with that, we are waiting for your response during this period. So, at the beginning of our budget process, we were facing a budget loss of approximately 900,000 dollars. However, the budget manager, staff and team worked hard to balance the budget. And after that, the municipality administrator submitted the proposed budget to the municipality commissioner. And it also includes that we are receiving feedback from the community through input lines, obviously through email. And then recently, the municipality commissioner has organized an initiative which is available on YouTube. And that is why we have been influenced by the municipality and we will include that input in the budget decisions because we will move forward to give the municipality the last budget for thinking. And now our budget and arrangement director, Amy Rodriguez, will rise. Shubh Sandhya.

Every year, the city of Corpus Christi creates a budget that works as an economic plan to provide services to our community. The budget determines how resources are invested to provide the citizens with the necessary services, including public safety, roads, parks, libraries, animal care, code movements, and many more. Workshops and services are included. In the budget proposed for the year 2017, in accordance with the priorities of the community input and the municipality, municipal water security and emergency water, administration, police, fire department, roads and parks have been given priority, while the city's response has been maintained for responsible administration. The city works on an extended year, which is only a 12-month extended period. The fiscal year of Corpus Christi starts on 1st October and ends on 30th September. During the entire year, the city's officials monitor the state budget, evaluate the services required, and make plans for future investments, so that it is ensured that the city's long-term fiscal stability is maintained, and the debtors' money is used responsibly. The budget development process begins months before the new fiscal year. The department assesses the needs of its employees, recognizes the priorities and offers financial support. The employees then consult the respected Rajashtra, assess the current services and develop such recommendations that meet the community priorities with the available resources, During the entire process, the city continuously assesses the value of Rajaswar VIA so that it can be ensured that the proposed budget is balanced by supporting the necessary services and long-term priorities. During such meetings, a collective community response helps to determine those recommendations. The proposed budget is then submitted to the Municipal Commission. After that, before accepting the final budget in September, there are public, input-based and commission-based workshops. The city budget is made up of several different funds, each of which fulfils a specific purpose. Tonight's discussion is focused on the common cause, It supports several main services that are used daily by ordinary Kosh residents and it is mainly used for property, sales, property rights, education and other local kingdom. It is used as a medium to sell, Rajasthva Police, Agnishman Park and Manoranjan, Bookshops, Animal Care Services, Codeprovision, Neighbourhood Services and many others support services such as work that enhance the quality of life in the entire Corpus Christi. There are a lot of other facilities that support services such as water, fresh water and gas. These services are mainly provided through customers and sellers. The city specializes in Rajasthva Kosh, Poonji Sudhaar Kosh and Rind Seva Kosh, of which each is dedicated to specific work programs, projects or additional responsibilities. One way to think about a normal house is to compare it with the budget of the house. Imagine that you have Rs. 100,000 available every month From that money, you will be able to save your voice, groceries, clothing, utilities, and money for the necessary expenses. Now imagine that you want to add a new expense. Maybe a gym member, a streaming service, or a new family activity. If you have this option, then to add something new, you may have to reduce or reduce any other expenses to stay in your budget. Every day, families decide what is most important and with the resources available, they balance the needs. The city budget also works almost the same way. While Rajasthan can change year after year, resources are not unlimited. New programs, services, facilities, or services are often available. It is necessary to balance the priorities with the money. This is the reason why the city's workers, during the budget development process, carefully evaluate the needs, available resources, available expenses, and community priorities. with the construction of the budget for the year 2026. The proposed budget for the year 2026 will focus on long-term water safety and advanced water management, police, dam, roads and parks. While the citizens will be provided with the necessary services to provide them with the necessary water management. This is why community input is very important. Your feedback will help the city management and the municipality to understand that which services and investments are the most important when considering the proposed budget and for the future. That's why we are dependent on them. They don't disappear. They come here. So we don't have any department for homeless people. And we will stay behind to achieve those goals, which we can achieve and move forward. Do you know who is the highest number of homeless people? These are old people. These are old people. These are old people who have never been homeless before. The city should give them priority. And you are going to get it for sale. You can fund it with the crime control and detention budget. Instead, you use that fund every time to give subsidies to the police. This is unacceptable. Thank you.

Mental health is a very important problem on which we should continue to work. Because as an experienced soldier, I can tell you that out of 10, 9 times PTSD is a real problem. The problems that our experienced soldiers are facing are a real problem. And many people, unfortunately, when they are unable to cope with it, they lose all hope. And in the end, they end up on the streets. And that is why I just want to remember that we are working on this and I am proud that the workers are working according to their capacity. Can we work on these issues and use people? I feel that there are few cities who have done such things, about which I feel that we can make ourselves an example. And I know for sure that this challenge is beyond this and I will make sure that I will keep fighting for these things. I want to thank everyone and stay safe.
