7:09 – 7:45Speaker 1

Uh I don't have too much. Um earlier in the week, Tom and I or last week, Tom and I met with the uh police, not police chief, fire chief, uh and a few of their guys over there to discuss, you know, um some of the changes that they have that we're going to be talking about more at the workshop. Um and also I got a nice little tour of the facility and it is so cool, especially when like the transition between the newer building and the one from the early 1900s. Excellent. Um so that's really the only thing I wanted to mention. Um, I will give the rest of my time to Michelle Kaufman.

7:48 – 8:32Speaker 1

Don't say what I'm gonna say. I wanted to talk about the jail bail that this Saturday. Um, we have a couple in the room. Well, actually Jack's going in. Manager and burrow manager. and mayor. Hopefully we get two for one on that and we get a lot more money that way. You know, I'm kind of glad you're both right now. Um mayor for sure. I do this all week long by the way. And market manager and the market manager Bonnie, she's already fundraising. And this these funds go towards the restoration and our

8:31 – 9:16Speaker 1

Would you like retired trash collector Mr. Gambi? Oh yes, Jack Gami actually signed up. That should be a pretty good one. Oh, nice. Leave him in there for a while since he changed trash all. So, I just wanted to let you know we invite you all to market on Saturday. We're taking donations as well. Um, but to also help bail these guys out if you want to or keep them in there longer. They'll actually keep them in there if you want. Um, but I just want to say we're if you have anybody you'd like to put in there, there's still spaces available. Space is there is still jail cells available. Thank you. Thank you. Have a good evening. You're welcome.

9:14 – 9:39Speaker 1

That's all for my office. Michelle, how does one sign up to become a person from the jail? I have I can get you an application or Jack can help you with that. Jack can arrest you right now if you would like. We'll just hold you there until Saturday. instead of relaxing. No, really. No computer, no phone. Councilman Cooper,

9:38 – 10:08Speaker 1

you know, I'd just like to thank everybody that came tonight and um uh I did go to a planning meeting uh last week and it was very interesting. And um they're going to they're going to be coming before council at some point in the near future to make a presentation. So, So, I won't tell you about it because you'll see it. Okay, that's all I have. Thank you.

10:09 – 11:52Speaker 1

Um, last week I attended the first in the lecture series put on by the Columbia 300. Um, sorry. And I I mean, you can talk about more about the series, but it was really awesome. I I love hearing the lady from Liz from the uh Rights Fairy Mansion. I I love hearing her talk. I mean, she's just she's incredible. I did the tour with her, too. It's so awesome. Um you know, there's going to be a lot of those um lectures coming up. I invite everyone to to take some time and go in. I mean, it was it was really cool. There's some really nice ones coming up. Um, history of history of the fire service here in town is going to be one like things that we've not had before that I think will be awesome. So, um, and next week for the workshop, we'll be we'll be looking at some ordinances that we would like to get the approval to advertise. We had given those the approval last year to advertise them. They never got advertised, but there were some reworks that needed to happen. We'll have those um for you guys to look at at the uh at the workshop. So hopefully we can get those moving. Um they're ones that are pretty easy. And one of them is the change for the parking at the river park in the trailer. All right. So,

11:52Speaker 1

that's it. Take that off my to-do list. Counseling's easy.

12:06 – 12:33Speaker 1

Um, Columbia 300 speaker series started um on Thursday the 19th. Um, they had 60 people in attendance. It was standing room only, which was nice to see. Their next um speaker will be Cindy Beaston on March the 15th at 2 PM at Columbia Crossings. So they invite everyone out to hear the speaker. March 19.

12:31 – 13:15Speaker 1

And if you need more information, you can find it on uh the Columbia PA300 has a Facebook page and they're also they have a website. So if you need any more information, it's listed on both of those places for you. If I if I may ask the the information on that series, is it is it together in a printable fashion that we could print that out and get that around? I guess I just gave it to her. I have a copy here. We do. We have it. We're going to publicize it as well. Okay. I'm sure a lot of people would like to have that. It was handed out piece of paper.

13:12 – 13:52Speaker 1

Yeah. We had a brochure on Thursday and it was on there as well so other people could go to the next one. But yes, you're right. It's coming. Thank you. You're quite welcome. Well, my concern is when Mark was talking the other night, he was saying, "Oh, we're going to have this one's getting added and this one's getting added." And so if there's more that are have already been added after that thing was, we need to make sure they're all there together. put it on the burough website. Have to be right redone time. At least it's a start. That's what the better

13:50 – 14:23Speaker 1

looking at a piece of paper than remembering to go back into the computer all the time and see when the next one is. Yeah. Makes sense. Thank you. Great suggestion. I We'll take it back. Thank you. Thank you, Joanne. That everything. Oh, yes. That's everything. I'm sorry. Council Z. Well, being last, all my thunder always gets stolen. You can go first next time. The police department hosts a wonderful day of event of cleanup with large appliance pickup on Friday, April 24th for rain day being 51. So, um you'll be seeing volunteers for that as well, correct?
