3:24 – 4:45Speaker 1

All right. Thank you, Mayor. Thank you, council members. The procurement of this professional service, we put out an RFQ um earlier this year for this project. We we chose Apex. They have a little bit leg above everybody else. They're currently working on our Rose Street pedestrian light project. So, they they have a good idea of what what we're looking at. So, we're want to continue, excuse me, the pedestrian lights down College Avenue. We're going to go south down Whitman and then head, excuse me, going to go west down Whitman and then go south down Davis all the way to Sixth Street. We'll be installing pedestrian lights all on there. We'll be putting sidewalk in across from the Waw Wall University uh gym aquatic center and adding two additional RFBs, one at Whitman and Davis and one at Fourth and Davis. This will help with the Waw Wall Valley schools, DA, the Davis Elementary and the Wawwa U to provide a safe passage and safe crossing across those busy intersections.

If not, that's fine. It's totally a

5:21 – 5:55Speaker 1

No, they I can have the our API representative that's here tonight. um if he might know, but I think it depends on the situation, depends on what improvements you're doing on a radius at an ADA ramp, depending on where the crossing is. I think on our most current project that we just put one in at large, and 8th Street was roughly right around 15 to 18,000. 15 to 18. Okay. Yeah.

5:52 – 6:46Speaker 1

Thank you. Speaking of the one on Larch and ETH, I sure do like seeing it. It really catches the attention as you're driving down Larch to remind you that there's people wanting to go to the park. It really does make a difference. All right. So, if there's no additional discussion, do we have a motion to award? I will motion to award the professional services contract for the Davis Whitman Drive pedestrian and bicyclist bicyclist improvements project to PBS Engineering APEX in the amount of $198,95025 which consists of engineering pedestrian lighting design, curb ramp design, street lighting design, RFP design, cultural resource assessment and public involvement. Also authorize authorized public works director or designate to sign contract documents.
