ORDINANCE 2026-04
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF CLEAR LAKE SHORES, TEXAS AMENDING ONLY (1) SECTION 82-362 TO BE ENTITLED "PERMISSIBLE NOISE LEVEL" AND (2) SECTION 82-364 ENTITLED "EXCEPTIONS" OF THE CLEAR LAKE SHORES MUNICIPAL CODE AMENDS THE PERMITTED NOISE LEVELS IN EACH RESPECTIVE ZONING DISTRICT AND THE PERMITTED EXCEPTIONS TO THOSE PERMISSIBLE NOISE LEVELS, PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY PROVISION FOR A CONVICTION FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS ORDINANCE CONSTITUTING A CLASS C MISDEMEANOR PUNISHABLE BY A FINE NOT TO EXCEEED THE MAXIMUM ALLOWED BY LAW, PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, PROVIDING FOR REPEALING/SAVINGS CLAUSE, PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE, AND PROVIDING FOR AN OPEN MEETING ACT CLAUSE.
